Big head small shoulders bosnian, danish bussnissmen and african voodoo merchant will be impossible to get rid.

Lenglet and Trincao are little easier.

It's a job for these guys and that they can stay if they want to, Martin may not care about legacy or all that so he can enjoy his fat salary if he wants, can't blame people that want to enjoy their salary after signing a contract we offered them (Umtiti was also in this category). Can't eat your cake and have it

The problem is buying these average old players for big salaries, it's normal that someone with 30+ years at the end of this contract won't go to play for 10% of the salary that he gets at Barca.

The question we must ask ourselves is if he was signed in the Winter market from Leganes, then why is he on such an incredible salary.

Sure we were desperate, but from the perspective of Braithwaite the Barcelona train only comes once. And he had two choices, get on for a small wage increase, or never get on at all.

Yup, I still don't get it.

He allegedly does very well for himself outside of football.

He denied those reports

True! It?s a shame how poorly the previous board managed the club (without even taking future contingencies into account).

His answer was a smart one, as it would not have benefitted him in any way to speak openly about his extraordinary wealth and success.

Also, the Law of Jante, which loosely translates to: one should not think he or she is better than anyone else, is still very much alive in Scandinavia. It describes the Egalitarian nature of Scandinavian society, ex. putting society ahead of the individual, not bragging about individual accomplishments, etc. While exceptions always exist, it would be quite uncharacteristic for a Dane to openly speak of such extraordinary wealth.

Of course, it could also be that the journalists who investigated are full of potatoes! But as the saying goes: where there is smoke, there is fire. I believe there is an iota of truth to these reports.

Forbes made a report about him saying he is worth 250m, lol. Even if he only has a quarter of that he'd still be rich enough to not care about a salary decrease.

He just wants to feel like a top player, training for Barca. If he goes to a relegation team he'll give that up.
