Because he doesn't need his finger taped up as a goodluck charm in order to convince himself that he can score.

Also the pass-to-assist plays he did don't really add up to his mediocrity as a player. So there's that.

Exactly. We all knew we needed faster and stronger players for CL. A competition where hard work and strong will and effort are very important.

Hey Havesaks, how has he performed for your national team? I only see denmark play when they beat us..

Nothing of note really. He plays on the wing when he plays and not striker, and he has never looked as impressive as he did in those 20 minutes. But that makes sense as the roles are totally different.

the danish national team is in lack of creative players and goalscorers, and he doesn't have that to him, so he is just a hardworking winger with no end product and not even the best of that type as we also have Youssuf Poulsen from Leipzig (who would suit us even better). But we need our attacking players to have some creativity as Eriksen is the only one to produce that, and Big Martin can't do that. So his performances for the national team are meh.

He isnt techbical at all, and isn't a good shooter, but if you want runs into the box, fight and hard work he can do that. And we/barca lack that.
But I'm still in disbelieve how well he worked out tonight. I thought the technical shortcomings would be a much bigger issue. Well only time will tell...
