Fuck me man, do you not read or something jamdav?

Didn't I say twice it may have been a different game he had a completely opposite take on to the general opinion?

Also, we didn't play badly vs City at all, even if second best to City on that night. Plus they still only won because of our individual mistakes rather than them putting on some clinic. They came off the good league form, we played like shit the entire Feb. Relative to most of our results and offensive form, we played well that game.

I thought you meant he seen it as a different game.. apologies.

City were by far the better side v Real and particularly made worse by on own soil.

Every team thinks goals conceded are their own errors.

City had more of the ball and twice as many attempts I am sure. They were comfortably the better side and Real were poor.

City will say Reals goal was their error when Rodri gives away ball in midfield so works both ways. That is more of an error than Reals first.

Sure, but not by far. They controlled the first half fairly OK, if you want to call it that. A bit of a pussy move considering they were romping it domestically for most of the 2 months leading up to CL and we were shite for all of Feb having only convincingly beaten Osasuna who rolled over and our striker scored 1 goal in 2 months.

Of course every team thinks mistakes are voluntary. Except in this game it's more true than anywhere else. City's shots were shit, Courtois saved everything comfortably, not one chance that you can consider a total sitter that's been missed, maybe 1 Jesus chance in the first half cancelled out by Vinicius missing one too.
Their first goal is quite questionable and the 2nd is literally a giveaway by Carvajal rather than their masterplan.

They were better, not by far.

Pep played it to not be so open as to get hit on break. Nothing to do with a 'pussy move' as it worked.

Reals only goal came from a mistake by Rodri in bad area. Can say they would not have scored if not for error.

Only the pen was an error not the equaliser.

City going to Real and getting on ball more and having twice as many chances as Real is being better team by quite a bit and they looked comfortable even when behind.

Liverpool scored 4 v Barca in a closer game than that and they were down to individual errors but I can easily agree Liverpool were better team by far that night.

Making errors is included not excluded from it.

Burger is gonna be playing every minute instead of him no matter you like it or not.

I sure hope he will, if Barca had Burger how you call him, against Real, they would have probably won.

Suarez is still one of the best 9s in the world and one of the best scorers, there is no player on the team that can replace him, and no player that the club is interested in can't replace him.

You should hope Burger stays fit, if you wish to see Barca win some trophies this season.

Calling one of the best players in Barcas history with such nicknames is disrespectful.

Calling him 'burger' is just a bit pathetic but Suarez was terrible at home to Real so cant really claim have him and win at Bernabeu.

Barca failed to win 3 of last 4 league games he played in despite him scoring a few.

Suarez legs up top with Messi doesnt cut it enough for a top side and Barca get out worked too often and it plays a big part in it.

Cant claim winning league would be on him either when two points clear at moment.

Nah, not buying Pep going to a conservative style being driven by tactics. He never does it, he always had confidence in his normal plan to be superior. This was the first time, in just about his entire history as a manager, Pep was reactive by pulling back and trying to contain Real who know they have to attack their decimated backline to have the best chance of competing in the tie. Man got scared, he was scared of leaving Mendy alone, so much that he put striker at LM. Then reverted back to his normal setup at HT when he realised RM were shit upfront and he can take more risk than he thought because they're not likely to be that much of a threat even against Otamendi and Fernandinho at CB.

They were always going to have more of the ball, particularly with RM in as shit a form as they were, it's not really an argument.

Equaliser was a push on Ramos, as light as it was it did enough, some refs would call it on VAR ergo the whole thing is debatable.

Having many chances doesn't make them better either when Courtois saves 95% of them any day this season. Other than the goals City had:
a) 22' - Jesus shot from the left side, had to shoot fast, Courtois comfortable save
b) 45+1' corner - cleared off the line comfortably be defenders
c) 49' Mahrez shot, well covered and almost blocked
d) 55' shot straight at Courtois
e) 56' quick shot by Jesus after getting a ball OTT, which he had no time to prepare, saved by most keepers

Other than the first, none were real chances that would make viewers worry. While Real had the Benzema header and the Vini followup. They cancel out in quality. A predictable game really, other than Pep pulling back in the first half.

Pep does go more conservative at times now and has done it against likes of Liverpool and not going full gung ho is hardly sitting back.

City were the better team quite easily and particularly away from home it stands out more.

Equaliser was never a foul either and but for a Ramos hack you are looking at 3-1.

He hasn't, not in CL away games where they usually tried to assert themselves no matter the opponent, be it vs Monaco, or Liverpool or Spurs where they tried and failed.

Nah, better but not by much. Poor chances, cautious pussyfooting to patch up the weaknesses at the back in the first half. Voluntary or necessary, still is pussyfooting. Especially since RM were garbage leading up to the game at their own stadium where last time in the knockouts Ajax put on a clinic from which they still probably have PTSD. And Pep still got worried.

Totally a foul. Depends on the ref standards of which push you call and which you let go. Ref in that game was pretty consistent tho.

Opposite view in every possible way bro. Soz.

He has against Liverpool so it is irrelevant if never done it before in CL and City wary of being hit on break played as such a bit more than usual.

Wasnt a foul. Ramos was at it as usual. Soz.

They created twice as many chances and had more of ball. When players came out and say they dominated can see why.

Would be 3-1 if not for Ramos foul.

Do explain how a different competition is irrelevant.

Or what Ramos 'was at' on the goal.

Because Pep has adjusted his tactics in past. Regardless of what competition it is.

Ramos was 'at' trying to con the referee. Didnt work.

Did well to stop 3-1 though.

He did same vs Spurs away last season as well. City were slightly more conservative and Pep wanted to avoid what had happened in other away CL games in past.

Explain why competition doesn't matter I asked.
Nor did he do it in the CL. Tried to win every away tie 'his way' from starting whistle every time.

How was Ramos trying to con the referee. If he were conning the push, he'd fall forward.

It doesnt matter as you claimed Pep never changes he does and has in past.

Also done it in CL vs Spurs last season so there is your CL example on top of Liverpool.

He tried to con ref he was pushed when caught under ball.

VAR checked it despite Real crying that they didnt and they gave goal.

Perhaps I did. I did mean the CL where Pep's woes and lack of adjustment, which is very important in European ties, is evident.
Don't agree he did vs Spurs anyway.

He did he try to con the ref? Fell backward after contact on the upper back where Jesus pushed to create separation from Ramos. Makes about as much sense as claims he tried to injure Salah lol.

Yeah, VAR was probably justified in not overturning the original decision. Some refs would call it.

He 100% dd it against Spurs and it was a big talking point at time about them getting beat 1-0 while Pep changed tactics.

Doesnt matter if you agree or not it is what happened and was widely discussed and Pep questioned about it.

He did try to con ref without a doubt when realised Jesus was behind him and caught out. It wasnt a foul ref got it right and VAR backed it up.
