Sport are claiming Montoya's going to leave on a free transfer, and sign a four-year deal with Valencia.

I'll believe it when I see it I guess.

It was rumoured from the time we've signed Gomes that Montoya will be part of the deal so nothing really surprising. We wouldn't get too much for him even if we'd sell him anyway.

He was a backup at Inter where he was deemed so useless they cancelled the loan halfway through and sent him back. And then he was a LB/RB utility player at Betis who also chose not to buy him. I honestly don't know why people expect offers to suddenly start rolling in for him.

Yeah, that's why we got Gomes for 50 million "only". We send them Montoya for free and give Samper on loan and probably pay his wages.

Gomes cost 35m. The rest are variables, and Valencia is not likely to get it all. Although I hope they do.
