Martin Odegaard

Its not often it feels like a loss when my team wins 5-0. Horrible opening for the season, despite the result today.

Reading that he and his father come across as a pair of right arrogant bastards. He should train with the Castilla and improve otherwise he will never amount to anything. Sort your attitude out son.

Media always makes a fuss out of small things, but of course you all fall for it like nothing. Its 2 games on the bench, not the end of the world.

The point is not about the two games on the bench, it is about WHY he was put on the bench. It appears that this kiddo has an ego bigger than Ronaldo's.

Good for you. :)

RM behaving like a shit club isn't the end of the world, just another normal day.

If RM truly promised odegaard five training sessions a week with the first team, and backpedalled on this the moment the kid signed, then RM is much, much more to blame in this current situation than odegaard, arrogant hothead or not

It's not that they back pedaled I think, but rather they want him to train with the Castilla team as well.

Do you follow norwegian football? If you did, i think you would find it a bit hard to believe Ødegaard has a big ego, he never shown any signs of it last year. Maybe he grew a big ego in the span of two months, but i doubt it.

being paid around €400 000 a month will do that to a 16 year old.

KingMessi, I don't know, it seems like both occurred at the same time.

Man, you're being very quick to judge here. It's from as(s) and should be taken with a huge grain of salt as it's most likely sensationalistic BS. It wouldn't be the first time.

Having watched Martin play in Norway for a good while, seen interviews of him as well as hearing what his teammates and friends say about him, he seems like very humble kid. This story sounds like it has trash journalism written all over it.

My point exactly.

I think the reason why he doesn't play more for the Castilla is that he's just not linking up well with his teammates yet, joining mid-season when they are in "the flow" already probably disrupted the team chemistry a bit, and since they are fighting for promotion to the Segunda, Zidane probably doesn't want to risk anything. At the end of the day it's best for Martin as well, because if they do not get promoted, he's likely to be sent out on loan next season and thus not play a single match for the Castilla anyway.

His teammates at castilla dislike him cause he is an arrogant guy who joins them mid season makes way more than they do and barely trains with them at all.
