Looks like destiny is working against Tito. Now he has to play Bartra ( unless he tries Song at CB again ). Any more injury and we need to start Montoya as well. Is Muniesa available for back up ?

If not Bartra, the safer play would to be play Busquets @ CB and have Song play @ DM. Busquets is one of the best DMs in the world but he didn't look awful when he played there for La Roja a couple months ago and the squad could really use Song's physical strength against Ibrahimovic anyways.

The blame only goes for the stubborn management who had an entire summer to get a reliable CB but instead went and buy another unnecessary DM. Now it's not only stubbornness but also stupidity for acting like that regarding the transfers. Not much surprising though as we've seen how much money was wasted for useless purchases in many years. The club really need to adjust the way they act in the market. So many consecutive years and the same unnecessary purchases while the needed positions still lacking quality options to rely on.

I think it's reached the point where 2 cb's are needed. I really hope that the technical staff and Tito don't get blindsided by Neymar and get what he team needs first and then thinks about a luxury.

Yeah, we don't need another forward. We have the best attack in the world with Messi and Villa (he's getting a little old, but he should do for at least 1 more season). We have Tello and Deulofeu coming up, too. We might want to replace Villa in the season following the next one, but for now, we need to focus on getting a CB (or 2) and a GK.

I think he can do really well fairly consistently if we get the right partner for him. And maybe someone who could challenge him for that starting spot.

Complacency and lack of competition on their spots destroyed our players performance. Look at Pique and Pedro, they always start almost every game.

True, though more true of Piqué. One central defender is the most important summer transfer we need. Bartra and Puyol should both get more minutes next season as well.

I also think Song or Mascherano, and Sanchez should be sold so that we can get Neymar this summer instead of the next, if that's possible

Let's face reality here, no way in hell that moron Ro Sell and Zubi will bring any new defenders here next summer. If there one think that Ro Sell and Zubi good at, i seriously doubt it will be transfer. The though of blind purchase of DM and convert them into make shift CB is sad. Look at the number of good CB we are now left with, 1 if we counting Pique. Lol. Still we spend much money monitoring CM, AM, DM, WF etc. 4x mil for Thiago Silva sure doesnt look expensive now, he played like a beast.

We all know Rosell and co will waste more money on Neymar this summer and I'm sure they will overpay which means we'll end-up with a small budget for a half-ass CB if we ever get one.

Laporta came when the club was way deeper in financial situation ,he made the team much better both financially and as a team ,he is way better president than Rossel ,not even close tbh
