Mateo Kovačić

¡Gr?*cies Xavi!
I have watched enough matches of him to form an opinion. I think he's a great talent who can potentially become world class, that's it. I've watched dozens of other players I felt the same way about over the years and most of them did not live up to the hype. Oliver Torres was supposed to be the best Spanish player and perfect Xavi replacement, where is he now?

I get your point and all, but why use Oliver Torres as an example? He'll most likely be a starter for Atletico this season.

It would be a miracle if Oliver will be a starter this season... the guy has barely progressed for 1 or 2 years now & I don't think Simeone is especially keen on developing young players

Just woke up my curiosity, just before I was going to bed.

Which young midfielders do you think are already World Class?

My issue with Pogba is the overhype that will force us to pay a massive transfer fee and wages. And like someone else said, he isn't even the best midfielder on Juve. I really believe he is a case of football "experts" repeating the same thing over and over again making the masses think its true.

Kovacic comes at a cheap price and wages. He'll is the type of player who quietly plays his game like Modric and Xavi. Both brilliant players who aren't flashy and are overshadowed by teammates.

Inter have to sell because of FFP. They can't keep him so he is definitely gone.

There's no point for the messi comparison. Messi and Ronaldo are the exceptions and not the rule when it comes to young talent. When the likes of Zidane etc were in their early 20's, nobody thought they were going to be as good as they are now. Barcelona and Manchester United was set up in a way that allowed Messi and Ronaldo to play to their full potential. Inter is in the rebuilding process and has been for a quite awhile. Even for Pogba, it took moving to a team willing to give him a chance for him to shine.

Let's all laugh about our arch rivals continuing to sign young talent at fair prices!!! (Minus James, of course).

Let's continue laughing when we buy an overhyped Serie A "phenom" for 80mil and pay him 12mil net wages. So funny!

Bad luck eh?

I'm wondering if I should be terrified for Verratti's future now.

Watching Real with Kovacic and United with Darmian play against each other...................in the CL final.

Why would you think of something so vile?

Where Darmian and Kovacic will score the goals, each of them kissing their respective club badges.

What is wrong with you people?!?! :puke:
