Yeah that was nasty. As much as there is a rivalry between the two clubs, don't like to see players on the receiving end of them type of challenges. Glad it didn't result in anything serious

People complain about Pogba being overhyped or overrated, but Kovacic has exceeded him in that on this forum.
The next you'll hear is that Kovacic is the best midfielder in the World. From being inconsistent at Inter while Pogba was outperforming Pirlo and Vidal last season in Juventus before he got injured while Verratti was ruling the midfield for PSG and delivering stellar performances in Europe too, to both suddenly getting rated less than Mateo Kovacic because of one game at Real Madrid and his army
I'm gonna love the reaction here if Bartomeu still goes on and signs Pogba the Summer of 2016.
I still remember how Toni Kroos was the next Xavi when he joined Real Madrid and how people were crying because we signed Rakitic instead of him. We all saw how that turned out. Kroos isn't even Germany's best CM when his compatriots are healthy, Gundogan is better.
Very few has said that Kovacic is goat already(heh), we will wait and see, no doubt he is a talented fellow. Verratti and Pogba are probably better as of now, but you dont know what will happen in the future. Im glad we "stole" Kovacic while you guys are stuck defending your soon to be 100-120 mill man.
No one said Kroos was the next Xavi, if anything, it was the next Xabi. He has done very well here, im pleased we got him. Rakitic is a good player as well, but no regrets for me. Kroos is a better fit for us, imo.
Kroos is good, but no, he isnt better than Modric.

Don't worry for all the hype, ours will be just fine when Turan is able to join. We have Busquets, Iniesta and Rakitic. Just needs more depth

I don't know how the fuck can you support 100 million money throw for a pumped up youngster. No one is saying that Pogba is bad, but he IS NOT 100 million good either.
He is not so good to deserve almost the best paycheck in Barca. No fucking way. I don't want to see that greedy bastard anywhere near Barca, no matter how good/bad Kovacic ends up.
I just don't appreciate these kind of players. But I am aware that we are probably only fools who will fall under this whole pumped up sphere around him and sign huge fucking check...that, as Barca fan, hurts me even more.
The next thing that I'm afraid of is that he might break team's harmony with his huge paycheck and YETANOTHERSTARINTHETEAM status, which widens the gap even more of what Barca used to be.
So if Pogba comes here and delivers slightly better performance than Mateo, I'll consider that an epic failure for club management.

1) Modric ?
2) Isco ?
3) Kovacic ?
I think all three of them cost as much as Pogba. Mate, I call that clever mercato.

Bojan does have a point. I think the emphasis is on creative talent. Busquests, Iniesta, Rakitić and Turan are all fine players, but most of them are not the creative type. Since Xavi left, the closest we have to that is Iniesta. And as much as I love Iniesta, he's probably my favorite player, his role is different and Modrić is more of a "conductor". They might train Kovačić into the same role.

Yeah fair enough not trying to down play how impressive their midfield is just pointing that I have faith ours is just as good and can match them albeit, we need to perhaps add more squad depth to the area.

Rakitic and Turan are creatives players. Rakitic is not free to do that, but I think Turan will be.

Yea, exactly. Especially Turan. His playmaking abilities are great. The man is strong, and he can pass, dribble, shoot and defend. I'd say he can be a CM for us.
