Like 99% of everyone else, you blame the injuries entirely on Carlo. I never understood that. Many managers like to play their favorite teams, only Carlo got all the blame for our injuries for it, no one else got that much shit for the lack of rotation ever, it was only Carlo. I give you an example, Modric was injuried basically all the time last season, how can you blame that on Carlo? Because he didnt rotate him? Well, he hardly had a chance to do either, did he? Our injury problems last season was abnormal, like a virus, it couldnt be blamed much on lack of rotation.

Erm when the fck did I blame Carlo? I said that Benitez is the perfect manager to develop Kovacic because he's always subbing on Kova and Casemiro. And the reason he's doing that is to rest and prevent injuries on Kroos and Modric.

It seemed to me that you kinda did, indirectly, with the talk of rotations. A couple of our injuries last season wasnt even down to that, it was bad luck, simple as that.

From what i have seen of him, he doesnt strike me as similiar to Iniesta. His ballcontrol is fine, but its not as disgustingly perfect as Iniesta. His touch on the ball doesnt make me think of Iniesta. Certainly he is a big talent though, glad we bought him.

Not in terms of touch, but in terms of his role on the pitch.

He's the same age or younger and as equally as talented as the most hyped MF talents of this forum aka Verratti,Pogba,Isco(kinda) and Oliver Torres. Playing with the likes of Modrić and Kroos will really help develop him in a great player if he gets more playing time. I'm hoping that both RM and Kova will stay patient. Don't buy too many middlefielders,wait a few years while Modric is still an amazing player. Kova should learn under him for like 2 years before taking the throne himself.

kroos plays that role but atleast his style makes him fit there since he is not a mobile player.
both modric and kroos are better fitted as CM or CAM

modric is better defensively than kroos. kroos isn't playing the xabi role for us, he's a regista, Pirlo style.
