I highly doubt Dortmund is going to sell him since both Götze and Lewandowski are leaving.

Everybody has a price. How much Bayern paid for Gotze? It's not like Dortmund is gonna ask 60m for Hummels now. It more depends on how serious Barca's going to get for Hummels rather than Dortmund not wanting to sell him.

I want him in Barca. But If he wants to stay at BvB, I'll respect his decision. He already seems a mature and humble person unlike that 6'4" headless chicken we have.

Dortmund dont need the money. They have shitloads of money to spend next season to find replacements for Götze and Lewandowski, unless a club is willing to pay a ridiculous amount (Like you said 50-60m) they wont let him go this summer. He´s still young so his price will only go up as long as he stays injury free, so why sell him now?

I also find it funny how after the first leg, everybody said he was too slow, too error prone and so on, and now that he has a good game he´s the right man again. You either like a player or you dont like him. Mats is a great guy, very intelligent and humble, but he does have those games like he had against madrid in the first leg. But I think every player has off nights, its about limiting the mistakes and he has all the time in the world to do that. He´s awefully slow, though...

There's a difference between the two games. Last night Dortmund spent the majority of the game defending their own penalty area and Hummels had a fantastic game, winning headers, tackles, interceptions etc. In the first leg, Dortmund as the home team were expecting to do most of the attacking, therefore the defence was another 20-30 yards further up the pitch. This is where his lack of pace, with balls played behind the defence, could be a problem if he was to joined Barca.

I still think he would be a disaster partnered with Pique. As you said, Dortmund won't need the money now so it's not going to happen.

Only way Dortmund to sell is the player to request the move. But for now I don't see Hummels doing it, especially after reaching the CL final.

If you ask me, it's sounds more possible Thiago Silva to request a move than Hummels. Just like Ibra is contemplating a move back to Juve, even for a hugely reduced salary. I just don't think Ligue 1 is fascinating enough for players of that calibre, even with all that money.

I won't repeat myself again. You guys are making this too complicated. Even if Dortmund wins the CL it doesn't mean Hummels will reject Barca if they come knocking on his door. Barca is a bigger club than Dortmund through and through and I doubt anyone refuse the chance to play for Barca, a chance that may come once in lifetime in their career.

If Barca go serious for him I'm sure this deal is gonna happen. And it's not going to be a +50m deal. That's just simply ridiculous to think he's gonna cost that much, considering Thiago Silva who was a bigger name moving to PSG for a lesser amount.

He was incredible last night. But I think it would be even better to get Subotic with him

Wish it could happen.

I saw the interview (now banned in youtube),
The interview should be this one (http://derpoehler.com/2013/05/01/mats-hummels-on-mario-gotze-switch/)

He said: “Mario Götze is one of the best 10 players on the planet now and therefore it was shocking for us to hear that he will leave. I didn’t really sleep that night, because I had heard it only one day before, – as some other of our team members too. We have talked a lot about this topic internally in the meantime”

“I like it very much when you are in a team and you can say this is “my team”, I like it to improve performance together with this team and the team mates continuously and I won’t join a ready well-performing team and easily get three titles. Personally, for my carrer, it really doesn’t matter not merely that I have won eight Championship titles and seven Cup titles, but rather that I have won exceptional titles. The three titles that we have won in the last two years with Borussia are such exceptional titles.”

“The thing with Mario is a sign that we haven’t been held in high esteem as the Top 4, Top 5 clubs in the world, but you have either the chance to contribute you part to get your club to this level or you can switch to such a club.”

“That is what it makes very difficult to all of us, because we lose a player who exactly knows how we think, who is part of this club from his youth on and still prefers another German club. When Shinji signed at Manchester or even when Lewy should go, this is more normal because they are not from Germany, but so it is hard.”
