Hummels's comment, I guess

Ya, that totally makes sense. Considering, you know, that Hummels is the spokesperson of every footballer out there. Shame for Neymar that he didn't consult with him before joining this sinking ship. Boy, does he look like a fool now!

I don't see the drama guys.

Hummels like almost every footballers on the planet think the Barca is an exciting team.

But as he implied, that doesn't mean every footballers want to play there.

He sounds like IF he had to move, he would prefer to go elsewhere than barca, and there's no problem with it.

You too can think, for example, that a country/place can be exciting, but at the same time you could prefer to go live elsewhere, for example in a more peaceful place (just an example)

So, I really don't the drama.

He's talked highly of Barca on numerous occasions, and of course he'd like to play there. He didn't imply anything, other than the fact that he's a Dortmund player at the moment.

I personally think that like many german players, he might prefer to stay in the german league.

That reminds me a coverage/interview around german players from the german league, and how... how can i put that... i don't know if patriotism is the right word because they also LIKE money but, many of them were so focused on the german league and the ambitious/grand Germany that it looked special from a french view.

In France, french players are not attached at all to their league, or even to their country.

Actually, many french just are not patriotic at all.

Thats not the case, everybody should leave their clubs to come here?Thiago Silva is happy at PSG and doesn't want to sell him.So what did you expect...pushing it to the limits for a transfer when Barcelona showed interest? and of course we didn't make any official contact so he would get interested.Thiago Silva himself said it would be a dream to play for Barcelona.

Well thats the point...they don't want to leave..They wouldn't say no if the circumstances for transfer were right .At least Thiago Silva, but from the moment he said is not unhappy there means that hes not interested coming here? I don't think so,its the fact that not everybody will be crazy and make everything to come here, but that doesn't mean he wouldn't like to come.

Our status in football has decreased. Before any player that had a good season would beg to play for us. Now they are not so enthusiastic.

that's not true actually

It has nothing to do with patriotism but the fact is that the German league is very strong and has 2 of the best teams at the moment (Bayern and Dortmund) while the French league doesn't offer as much.

Meitux and Indignado are spot on.
Besides, it's good to see that there are still players out there, who doesn't force a transfer, and instead actually tries to honor the contract they signed.
If PSG agreed to let him go, I have no doubt in my mind that Thiago would bunny hop all the way from Paris to Catalunya, flowers in hair and a heartshaped box of chocolates for Rosell.

Barca and Real always have been and always will be the worlds most attractive clubs, our status has not dropped one bit. The status of other clubs such as Bayern and Man Utd are up and down depending on success. Barca and Real's status is not dependent on success as they are the only 2 clubs that have everything a footballer wants. Status, power, money, lifestyle, city, stadium, history, trophies, adulation, fame, romance etc. Other clubs can't compare, nearly every player would choose Barca or Real over any other.

Not necessarily by that much anymore. Nowadays the sugar-daddy clubs can wield their financial advantages, which many times gives bigger allures to players than the prestige of clubs like Barca/Real. It's not 100% even playing ground, Barca and Real will always have that name-advantage, but it's getting closer as other clubs have more to offer.

The reality is that some players now look at the clubs' records a bit, but also especially at their contract.

Marquinhos, for example. he had the choice. Marquinhos said it again yesterday, he had the choice.

He chose PSG while he could have gone to Barcelona.

I won't search any other reason than money.

That's just an example, and I don't mean most players would have done the same choice, but it's not exactly like it was before where you could lure every players just based on prestige.

What i see is that more and more players look especially one thing: the salary they can get.

Now people can like it or not, but that's how it is.
