I would still try to get him by offering Juve a trade, but man, that's what you get for letting Raiola get into your head.

Juve would never sell him.

We're either gonna get Pau Torres or that Lenglet looking Argentine from Ajax.

Thought this guy was the next big thing when he went to Juve but he has disappointed. Still young I know, but doesnt seem as mobile as the likes of Ruben Diaz at City.

A little injury prone too. Jury is still out on him for me.

Barcelona could propose a deal involving players with Juventus for Matthijs de Ligt. Antoine Griezmann, Ousmane Demb?l? and Miralem Pjanić have all options to enter a possible deal. [md]

Disappointed ?
I think he played pretty solid this season. On the Juve forum they all seem to love him very much. They see him as the next (new) captain. Don't forget he's playing at the weakest Juve squad in years.
He's still VERY young. And better than most defenders already. He will only get better and better.

BTW You're right about his mobile abilities. But there are no perfect defenders. Every defender has some sort of weak point.

Thats the problem if people dont watch matches and still want to judge them. De ligt has been a beast this season.

Seems like he feels alienated by their Gucci culture. Maybe there's an opening. Who knows. Not holding my breath though.

I loved this guy at Ajax and I do really hope he fulfils his potential. I admit I haven't seen all Juve games but have seen them play about 15 times and was not overly impressed.
I agree, he is still so young and is likely to improve a lot over the coming years. Interesting to see how he evolves.
Would like to see him in PL some day, he has the physique and quality for the PL.
