I have doubts about this.

Will Valverde really have the guts to bench one of Pique and Umtiti or rotate them more for a kid even if he got superstar talent? I'm not confident. Better to get an established player instead.

Doesn't matter. De Ligt, if he comes, would outlast Valverde anyway. One season with him rotating isn't a loss.

Says that De Ligt informed Ajax, through agent Mino Raiola, that he wishes to leave the club this summer.

Verweij is seen as a Tier 1 source for Ajax news btw.

Raiola! Fuck... Lol.

I doubt we'd do business with pasta boy again.

We should probably still make a move for him if he want to leave. Although he really would be better off staying there another season.

Pique's form have been up and down, he's 31 which is not very old, but he has a lot of other business ventures and the ambition to run for Barcelona President so I don't know how long he'll really play.

tbh with the rumored offers from City & Spurs he is out of our price range anyway (45-50M £) specially considering he already said he prefers a move to EPL

More commission for Raiola too. Although if the player insists on one team only you can drive the price down.

The full story will be out today in the paper edition so will be interesting to see if he conveyed his preference for team too.

Lenglet's buyout is 35m and I would seriously pay 5m for de Ligt. The latter's talent outweighs his inexperience in comparison.

With him saying he prefers EPL, and City preparing a massive offer, Pep there I don't think we stand a chance. We neither have the money and nor we are his favorite.
Move for other targets like Lenglet or Upamecano.

We don't know that yet though even though he seem to have suggested that previously.

Fucking City. What the hell are they going to do with another CB. They have Otamendi, Laporte, Stones already.

Every team except for us hoard talent while we hoard guys like Arda and Gomes.

Stones likely on his way out or relegated to bench
tbh, I would take Pique & Umtiti over any of those

Zero chance with Raiola for us. That is sad, pretty sad. Oh well, is not he a Madrid fan anyway?
