Mavericky Puig

Who would buy him?
English teams, no way.
German, no way.
France. They don't have money.
The only place left is something like Betis.
But I guess that he would be benched the same as Alena.

Needs a manager who overlooks his initial physique to give him a shot. In these two pre-season games he was better than Alena in every facet, so it suggests Koeman can't get past it.

If Koeman can't then it is impossible he plays at pivot while AMC is overbooked with Coutinho, Messi, Griezmann.

There's a handful of LaLiga clubs where Puig will play alot in. Celta Vigo stand out. Majority of Portuguese clubs, a few Bundesliga and one or two EPL teams would take him (Wolves).

Send him on loan to Ajax in the Dest deal.

Overlooked this option. Great idea.

Sell him to Betis (with a buy-back) while we get Emerson back a year earlier without having to pay them is another option.

Why should we even have a double pivot system in the first place? And it's not like Koeman has done great things with his tactical acumen before.

Is 433 working recently for us?

Don't reply with La liga arguments.
In La liga we could win with every possible formation.

Again, you didn't even give a chance for 4-5 matches to a new formation.

Is this how this season will look like?
In 2018, whenever Arthur, Dembele, Malcom, Alena didn't play, people wanted to sack EV.
2 years later, it seems that EV was a visionary for not playing those clowns.

This season, we will see a meltdown in every match if Ansu and Puig aren't playing, isn't it?

Yes it is and I'll explain why.

EV was 2 games away from the treble playing with bums like Coutinho.

The expected goals stat was completely equal over the two legs and we got incredibly unlucky to go out.

If Dembele scored that open goal to make it 4-0 you know what happens? We win the treble.

Liverpool also won it all playing 433 switching FROM 4231 after selling Coutinho and bringing in Fabinho

Puig was amazing next to Frenkie in the double pivot. Koeman did not see that?
Or is something else going on behind the curtain?

Valverde was just a coward who did not want to take any risk, that's why he wasn't playing them.
He was playing safe only, that's why Rakitic was still starting after so many awful seasons.

Discarding one of the brightest La Masia prospects in order to incorporate fucking Pjanic is just sad. This club is really disgusting. Can wait for a new president to arrive! Fucking Barto and co.! I only hope they will loan him to La Liga team and not sell!

Puig is not even 20 when Valverde was here for 2.5 season. Rakitic, he declined but you can not blame him because of his massive works (cover for Messi upfront is not easy).

Puig is best at CAM but Koeman wants Coutinho/Griezmann.

Puig seems like the type of guy who would kill it at another club if he is loaned out, just to prove he should be at Barcelona.

Koeman is probably gone in a half season to seasons time so if he isn't counted on, let him show it is a mistake in LaLiga.

Really not bothered by this news at all. Even if it is unfortunately timed.

Alot of LaLiga clubs will want to loan him, especially as there is no money for good midfielders.

Wow I’m shook hearing this....

I haven’t been on the hype train of Puig but every time he has played he has looked very promising.... I don’t know if I could handle him being sold and seeing him flourish... I just get Thiago vibes from this. Except Puig doesn’t have Iniesta and Xavi in front of him...

Puig is one of the few players I actually hoped to watch more this season. Imagine if Fati gets the same treatment...
