He doesnt score or assist enough to play there.

Was more or less given free role in B team and output was average.

Pedri is more versatile and could be played as a #10 and even on the wings as a playmaker and has played in a two-man Midfield at Las Palmas as well.

And seems to be in better shape physically despite his age.

I get that Pedri is an option out wide but I wouldn't say he has better fitness than Puig. Both can play AMC while the jury is still out on who is better in DMC- probably Puig though. Puig looked fine there in pre-season games and gave better effort than Alena. But then I am not the one watching training so it could well be that Koeman see's Alena better in the pivot and Pedri better in all offensive positions.

If that is the case then fair enough. Not counting on Puig does not mean we have to sell him. A loan is ample and beneficial and the route we should take. If the board do likewise then no reason to overreact.

Let Koeman make his team they said? Let him buy whoever he wants they said? Koemmander is at the helm, do not fret.

Other than being Barca legend, nothing in his coaching and mananging history suggests that we should let him dictate who leaves and who comes.

If he insists in Puig leaving just loan him out this season until this guy inevitably fails like in his other jobs and a new board and coach comes next season.

Reasonable explanation. Problem is that 4-2-3-1 won't work here. Two midfielders with very weak fullbacks and Messi as a #10 or on the wing with weak wingers like Dembele? Laughable idea.

This is super strange, I try never to hype up kids until they prove them self, but Puig is obvious talent. Time will tell is he a magical talent like Iniesta, WC talent or squad player...but to throw him under the bus with likes of
