Has Denis Suarez ever looked that confortable or influential in a Barcelona game though?

I mean he done a nice run and won a penalty in Copa once. But even if it is only Alaves, Puig looks like he belongs.

Puig is closer to Xavi and Iniesta than to guys like Alena, Denis or Coutinho. Hes a wonderful player.

Let's see him get five full games in a row, and let's see what his true ability is.
I've been outlaughed by everone on this forum for calling him a top5 midfielder a couple weeks ago.
Maybe if he plays like today against PSGx2 and then again the next round you won't laugh anymore.

That's the biggest issue i had with Denis. He never looked quite comfortable playing for us. For example, he played so well with Villareal and had many excellent matches for Celta. With us it never quite looked like he had the confidence to play well

Stop. Not a chance he would have a game like this vs PSG. Alaves is 16th place and they even play an open game, not park a bus.

Folden is not top 5 midfielder in the world and he is hundred times better than Puig.

You are setting it up to be able to say 'I told you so' when Barca dont play Puig and dont play like today but the reality is PSG will be a different side with a different set up and to play like today most likely will not even completely be in Barcas hands.

He had similar impact (arguably even more) against Atletico de Madrid and Juventus already.

All three times teams were sitting off Barca and not pressing as much in midfield.

This. Puig will perform very well against any side like Alaves (giving him tons of space and time to make a decision) but it's a totally different match vs teams who close down fast, are physical, and fast. To be fair though, Puig played very well vs Atletico Madrid last season.

The problem with PSG is we may have very limited possession, which essentially makes Puig a lot less capable.

They can have this approach and have a chance, or they can pussy out and have no chance (bar Messi making something crazy)
Almost noone thought Barcelona would have a chance in 2009 against Man Utd with all defenders gone (I didn't) but Barcelonas chance is always to dominate the ball. With MSN they could trade chances, but not anymore.

Then he is bad vs Betis last match, vs teams from second division. Why you only limit by just one match??? Juventus game they let Barca control because they already won 3-0.
