Yea, no doubt. The problem is that Koeman doesn't rotate much with his first 11. Plays it all the same, all the time almost. Even though in many games you could mix it up and give chances to other players as well.
For example, why not start him and Ilaix vs Valladolid on Camp Nou? Rest De Jong, rest Pedri before El Clasico.

No bubba, because of what Serghei actually said. You antipuigistas are as ridiculous as couple of his fanboys. Only reason why this weird talk about him is happening is because he obviously does't receive reasonable game time, which would be expected at this point. Even if just for rotation reasons to rest some players that are used a lot. This 5 minute sub nonsense is stupid and Koeman is rightly being called out on that.

Although the term "antipuigistas" is funny as hell, I have to agree. A bit more game time would be reasonable.
Definitely deserves more playing time. He's the same mould as Mingueza, playing with a lot of heart and desire. Riqui is more talented though.
I think it's safe to say Ilaix is the more physical option and Riqui the more creative option for our midfield in case of subs, and they should be utilized more. Bye bye Pjanic.

I didn't ignore anything. You remarked that Serghei thinks he has shown himself well "because of one pass", which is not what he said. He's been showing quality even in those absurd late game subs let alone larger samples so it would only make sense for him to fill in from time to time. Especially for Pedri, who is crying for little vacation.

Why are you mentioning Pedri. If Pedri gets a rest, Moriba will be his replacement, he is the next in the pecking order after Frenki, Busi and Pedri. Which is fair, those 4 are deservedly in front of the other midfielders.
Puig should first try to overtake Moriba, and then think about replacing someone in the starting trio.

Could be worse, you could be Pjanic right now.
Guy thought he was going to come here and be a starter only to get benched and overtaken in the pecking order by Two kids who were born in 2002-3 and even Puig is getting more runouts than he is these days and all three of them have been performing better than he has.
