Why are you mentioning Pedri. If Pedri gets a rest, Moriba will be his replacement, he is the next in the pecking order after Frenki, Busi and Pedri. Which is fair, those 4 are deservedly in front of the other midfielders.

Puig should first try to overtake Moriba, and then think about replacing someone in the starting trio.

Puig far better than the names you say except Frenkie. He is more deserve lineup 11.

He looks happy every time I see him. Cheering from the bench or out there in field. I like that.
Maybe there is role for him to play still. Messi or Pedri sub or whatever.

I like Moriba, but he's done literally nothing to be in any kind of "pecking order" at all. The double standards is strong with this. Besides, they are different profile. Puig is AM, while Moriba is DM, who likes to stroll forward. Puigs profile is closer to Pedris.

Ilaix is not a DM and in many ways more similar than Pedri.

Large part of the reason Pedri will be ahead of Puig is his discipline and ability to win ball back even before compare them on ball.

Ilaix is better than Puig at that and not worse on ball.

As i said, this is just double standard. I understand being excited for another upcoming talent, but his sample size is non existent. People are making jokes about Puig about this, but get their panties wet after few basic performances and couple of nice moves against tired teams like it settles this. So now Puigs Xaviesta like preassist should also be exaggerated or not?
Don't see how their profiles are duplicating at all. Moriba is slow and doesn't move off the ball like Puig, neither he has shown much creativity. He may end up next Yaya Toure for all we know, but the hype right now is just as ridiculous as some of the Puig worship before this. Ideally they both should get rotation minutes.

It is not double standards at all.

Can think they are different players and one brings more than other as to why gets more minutes.

Ilaix is not slow at all.

Puig brings different things than Moriba. They are not interchangeable and Moribe is not as good as Puig at some things that the later imo is close to elite. You have no proof of the opposite so shut up.

Couldnt care less what your opinion is on them as players. As usual it is nonsense but irrelevant.

Just pointing out your weak attempts to claim folk cant praise Moriba and making it all about Puig as you fan boys do.

Less of a Braithwaite fanboy these do though eh? Can fair pick them.

Why do you lie? It's you being fanboy worshiping player after couple of nice performances and one bad (which was incidentally bigger sample size as he got half in one laliga match after was subbed off), while asking for Koeman to give rotation time for Puig is perfectly reasonable and doesn't require any special treatment at all.

Don't know why you bring up Braithwaite debate as you was wrong in that too.

I didn't ignore anything. You remarked that Serghei thinks he has shown himself well "because of one pass", which is not what he said. He's been showing quality even in those absurd late game subs let alone larger samples so it would only make sense for him to fill in from time to time. Especially for Pedri, who is crying for little vacation.

Obviously referred to him saying Puig stood out last night.

On a more relevant note: I think there are reasons Puig mostly stands out as a sub. But he usually brings mobility, advances passing options and his agility is impressive. These are the characteristics we don't see with our other subs and it might be beneficial to see more of him. But I really don't see the point in crucifying Koeman for valuing Ilaix over him.

Making up nonsense as desperate to get folk to stop praising Ilaix as take it as a slight on Puig. That is all this is about.

Not been 'worshipping' Ilaix just you cant accept any positive comments on him.

Not wrong on Braithwaite at all. Said he was nowhere near good enough and he isnt. Team been far better since Koeman changed it and played him less.

Spoke nothing but shite on Koeman and likes of Braithwaite all season.

really neat cameo last night. sweet touches, dripping with honey, as Ray Hudson would say.

for me, even though he came on late, he was man of the match (for me)

Puig's a better passer, a more creative player, and is better on the ball than Ilaix. Ilaix is stronger and better defensively at tackling, interceptions, physical duels. And is a fairly good passer as well. And while not fast, he just has an odd run, not slow imo.

It's ridiculous to say Ilaix is as good on the ball as Puig. It takes 5 mins of seeing them both playing, for example vs Alaves when they shared many minutes, to see it's not true.
