One thing I don't get, since Koeman will be staying, he won't be getting many chances, then why aren't other clubs standing in line to get this guy. They have a chance to buy a player better than Xavi and Deco combined, and yet still no offers for him.
His release clause is only 100 mil, odd that no one has activated it, a bargain for a player like him.
100mil euros!?
That's way over most clubs budgets, even I wouldn't pay that much for Puig tbh (but I'd decline a offer of that magnitude if I already had him in my squad though)
Surely they could get him cheaper, but I don't think the club would let him go now, though. Koeman seems to be with his balls under some shoe: needs to play 433, needs to play Puig sometimes etc, it seems.
What it looks like is: Laporta let Koeman stay, but with some constrictions - otherwise he goes. It all looks to be set up for a Xavi entrance next summer - and I think Xavi - like me - would want Puig in the team.
There were some reports that Puig isn't even available on loan, hinting that Koeman is under strict restriction to give him minutes, because he can't really go another year without playing time, it makes no sense at all...
I think this player is valued much higher by the club than by Koeman and by most users on this discussion board!
