Will he get minutes now after Nico getting injured?

Alvaro Sanz had a double training session yesterday. The first with the B team, the second with the A.

Anyways.

Reading the MD comments you can see this gem.

If you weren't Catalan you wouldn't have played in the second division, and not even in your wildest dreams would you have dreamed of collecting the millionaire that Bar?a pays you to warm up the bench. Infamous player who, at the age of 22, prefers to continue sucking the bench at Bar?a, rather than go out on loan to grow as a player in other teams. But of course with that little body of Geyperman that you spend, that you look like a 12-year-old boy on the field, in today's physical soccer, well, you have it very raw. But this is Bar?a, where all the monstrosities and the most aberrant players have a place if they are Catalan, and it has been like this for years.

Someone responded...

What a nice comment, especially considering that he is a player who has barely played, so I don't know how to know if he is good or not without playing. But you want the easy like, that's why you say the easy bullshit. It is much better than jong, without a doubt. 90 kilos for a bloodless guy, who plays to the rhythm of my grandmother, and who goes unnoticed in every game.

I'll grab my popcorn. Seems the Puig debates arn't exclusive to this forum.

Shit mentality. The problem is he is 23, and we have a guy on his position who is a starter at 19.

Puig will retire when his contract runs out next season, his only goal is the fame of being a Barca player. He won't have that fame if he goes to a smaller club.

Pedri and Gavi are freaks of nature, you seriously gonna act as if it's totally normal to have 19 and 17 year olds as starters at a top club like Barca? Because there's so many of them at other clubs right now, right? ;) That doesn't mean other players should just give up.

Hopefully he gets some playing time finally now that both Pedri and Nico are out. Has to be THE midfield sub off the bench, preferably for Gavi, since both Busquets and De Jong will (should) pretty much play every minute in these last few season games most likely. Hopefully we lock up top 4 with two or three games to spare, so Puig can get a start or two as well.

I think it moreso suggests we are much worse than we've ever been and the fact that Puig can't get a minute when a 17 year old is a starter indicates his ability.

Yes, there is a reason you don't see 17 year old start at other top clubs. Because they are top clubs not 'knocked out in QF of Europa' clubs. This is our reality, and the fact Puig is acting like we are still the best team in the world and its impossible to play here is ridiculous. If he doesn't play here now he will never play here.

PorteraNunez : Three offers have come in for Riqui Puig. 1 is a transfer (very low price) and 2 are loans, however the club are finding it difficult to convince him to leave.

There is a problem with Riqui Puig leaving Barcelona in the summer. Few clubs are interested in him. Only 2 or 3 clubs are interested in signing him, but few teams are willing to pay his salary. @sport

Pep will call him any minute now.
