I can't speak for BBZ but I am pretty sure he is surprisedly impressed with Puig.

I hope so. I know from Barca B that his final ball can be lacking and he usually favours distributing the ball to the right side (something which is ok in the first team as Messi is there) so he will have to improve his decisiveness in the final 3rd to be our long term option there. But his linkup and think wittedness is fantastic to cycle the ball around in the final third.

I wonder though if we might be better with Frenkie in DMC and having an offensive midfielder with more power and offensive output, while Puig is the intermediate. No idea who that player is, but I guess Pjanic will be that guy next season for us.
