Aren't the Camora ruling in Napoli and Cosa Nostra boss Sicily? What a traitor then Mino is! Or he is getting on well with both mafia clans? If he does, he's swimming in the hot water. Nice one Txiki, he does it yet again. Some of the Cules on here would be better off supporting Man City, Real, Chelski etc if you are only interested in big name signings. Football is a team sport, we just needed a back up for Abidal and we got it and at a fair price.

Bloody pleased with this, it shows the club have an intelligent board, who will not be swayed by the media or the prepubescent fans that are clamouring for us to plunge the club into huge debt so that they can show off to thier friends in the playground.

I was being pessimistic by drawing on our record historically at that stage of the tournament, how that has any similarity with wanting the club to be crippled in debt?

Are those guys even worth mentioning in a discussion? I`m just opposed to drawing conclusions from a sporadic event. It`s not like we get those fair deals on a regular basis do we? And it did take us more than ever to sign a single player.
Also we will probably splash our transfer record on Villa. Is that in line with us spending in our means?
For my part;I can be happy with the signing but not with the overall developments so far. And having in mind the Eto situation... but that`s another story.
