Are those guys even worth mentioning in a discussion? I`m just opposed to drawing conclusions from a sporadic event. It`s not like we get those fair deals on a regular basis do we? And it did take us more than ever to sign a single player.
Also we will probably splash our transfer record on Villa. Is that in line with us spending in our means?
For my part;I can be happy with the signing but not with the overall developments so far. And having in mind the Eto situation... but that`s another story.

I think we should bring in 1 good attacking/playmaking CM and sell both Hleb and Guddy. I know it's drastical to sell Hleb after just 1 season, but I just don't think he will be good for our side - not good enough anyway. I'd rather choose Poulsen as backup for Yaya than Hleb for Iniesta. I guess that is why Ribery would be such a good addition to our team, he could not only play on the wings but would make a brilliant CM as well.

But guys, let's say we will spend €20 millions on a backup for Xavi/Iniesta - who would you suggest (ohh, and it has to be realistic)?

We just bought Maxwell for €4.5 millions?! Somebody definitively made a big mistake when we bought Caceres for €17 mills'.

If we paid him more than 15 mil, i think he is overpriced, but i still believe in him. He just need more playing time to fulfill his potential. I remmember pique at the beginning stage last season was kinda shaky. When he gain more playing time, he started to settling in. A loan will be a better option than to sell him.

No you're not the only one, I think Cáceres has a lot of potential and if he's to leave it should be on loan, not a permanent sale. The price was still too high though.
