If he’s not willing to arrive on reasonable wages then we shouldn’t want him anyway. More than happy to have players reject us if wanting a bigger salary that makes it hard to move them on should they flop

Our attack isn't the main problem, and even though it would be nice to have a bit more creativity and goal scoring options in the squad, the reality is that we need defensive minded players way more than we need Depay.

If we manage to bring some steel in midfield and backline then missing out on Depay won't be the end of the world. Long summer ahead so we'll have to wait and see.

not main problem, but a very close second after the defense. we are not scoring enough or lack killer edge to close out matches by scoring when we should.

let's say aguero, messi, griezmann will score a decent amount. we still need the wingers to produce more.

Not sure how much will Depay help the winger problem as he's not a pure winger. Would be a solid option and for free it's a no brainer. I just don't think he's that important. Like I said, the attack will score goals, not as much as we want but enough for La Liga, it's the braindead CBs and soft midfield that let us down more than the attack, after all we scored more than RM and Atletico but they had a vastly better defense.
