I dunno. First, i dont see Özil going anywhere for less than 30M now. Also i feel like he is a bit overrated now. I didnt like his last two matches that much. He had some technical flaws today, some easy mistakes. He also was too playfull in several situations, failing to do the easy, more efficient thing - like either a pass, or in 2-3 situation just taking the straight, direct shot.

I was also really hoping and a bit expecting Löw to bring in Kroos for Özil for like the final 15-20 minutes to keep better control of the ball and possession.

Totally agree , i was saying the same thing over the chat during England game , he is more a show-pony atm , reminds me of Robinho first year .
he will mature in time but at the moment he look for the show off than the easy "team spirited " option

I wonder how Oezil would do if he was given that right wing "Messi" role, seeing that he has a good amount of pace and a great shot, and is also left footed. Messi's been class as a 9 while Ibra was injured, and I think Villa-Messi-Oezil would definitely be something to watch.

Crazy . Cesc without a doubt , we need someone sooner than later when Xavi packs & sign Cesc & test him until Xavi leaves. Because when Xavi leaves , we would need someone as soon as possible considering the role Xavi plays is the most important one in our squad . Just get him & let him play goddamn it .Injury should be a big concern too considering Xavi`s age & this season would be very very tough.

Xavi`s position is Barcelona`s heart .

Ozil may be good or very good , but this risk ain`t worth taking . It is & should be Cesc only.

I know ozil only from the WC where he has some good moments,how can you compare him with a player who has good,very good moments season after season??
