Question is if we bring him back could we sell him for more than 1,5m? Probably not because most bottom table La Liga teams who could potentially be interested are broken (thanks Tebas).

Difficult to bring back and re-sell after a season looking decent in Segunda. This isn't England and the Championship unfortunately.
A comparison would be Cuenca. Sold to Villarreal from B in 2020 for a few million. Had a couple of LaLiga loans, played 500 minutes for Villarreal this season. But if Villarreal were to sell him today, they would probably struggle to get more than the 2.5 they paid. And then there were 3 seasons of wages on the books more or less to account for.
So a good decision for us to let go back then.

The squad management has been incredibly poor on Sevilla's end.
Guess this is what happens when everyone catches on to what they have been doing for years. Spending peanuts on under the radar talents and making bank when they sell them and getting EL titles here and there.
Seems like no matter who they hire it ends up the same way, expecting them to perform miracles with such a dismal squad.

Another 5m in the bag for Barca in coming days?
MARCA: Roma wants to sign Mika Marmol immediately.
Roma's initial offer is up to €7M, but there's a major obstacle that could hinder the deal.
Barcelona owns 50% of any future sale of Marmol, which makes Las Palmas reluctant to let him go for that price.
They believe the player is worth over €10M and won't consider selling him for less. 🔴

Funny you say that. Always thought he was quite a tall CB, seen him live too. TM has him shorter than Eric Garcia though. Weird.
We could potentially bring this lad back for 5m ourselves and loan him to Como ourselves. LCB, good on the ball, 23, might be an idea.
