Yes, but if Andorra sell him (surely for less than his 3m clause) then we don't have control over him anymore.

He's not going to be Barca quality. He's not better than Eric Garcia and Eric is not Barca quality.

I know. My point was if we could potentially make more money out of him if we'd bring him back to re-sell rather than get half of whatever Andorra could sell him for.

But probably not enough to be worth even thinking about that.

Difficult to bring back and re-sell after a season looking decent in Segunda. This isn't England and the Championship unfortunately.

A comparison would be Cuenca. Sold to Villarreal from B in 2020 for a few million. Had a couple of LaLiga loans, played 500 minutes for Villarreal this season. But if Villarreal were to sell him today, they would probably struggle to get more than the 2.5 they paid. And then there were 3 seasons of wages on the books more or less to account for.

So a good decision for us to let go back then.

As 983 said at the top of the page, the whole of Spanish football is financially broken.

Sevilla are very interested in Las Palmas centre-back Mika Marmol on whom Barcelona have 50% of his rights. Las Palmas does not want to negotiate and refer to his release clause of €30m. #FCB Via:

The squad management has been incredibly poor on Sevilla's end.

Guess this is what happens when everyone catches on to what they have been doing for years. Spending peanuts on under the radar talents and making bank when they sell them and getting EL titles here and there.

Seems like no matter who they hire it ends up the same way, expecting them to perform miracles with such a dismal squad.
