Surely Deeney should have been comparing Lamine to Salah, not Vini.

But for that to happen, Deeney would have to know who Lamine is. He probably thinks it's a cough syrup !

Is Saka close to him?

Seen someone say on Redcafe if Salah leaves Saka would be a good replacement and Liverpool wouldn't notice much of a drop-off (hypothetically speaking as he'd not leave Arsenal).

Personally I think Saka is a very good player but nowhere near Salah, in ability or stats. Comments like Saka can replace Salah (even at this stage of Salah's career) highlight how underestimated the man still is even aged 32.

Lol. Not even close.

If he leaves, I'd get Mbeumo.

No one can replace Mo directly anyways. Mbeumo is more his profile than Saka.

The main difference is that you don't have to adjust any of your team to accommodate Saka. He's very good off the ball, while the midfield has to carry Salah a bit in that regard - especially with TAA behind him.

Terrible penalty. Stop blasting penalties and use a more calculated technique.

If you blast penalties with power you need Harry Kane's shooting power and accuracy. Salah's shooting power is low and he should rely on outsmarting keepers.

Is that a joke? Saka is not even close to Salah.
If Salah was English, the media wankfest over him would be unbearable.
