I hope he stays modest after all the dickriding he's been getting lately... sure he's a great talent and already very good, but NT level? Not quite...

They're just trying to cap him before it's too late.

Four months ago he was playing for Juvenil A and now this.. hope he keeps working hard.

Munir: "ESP call-up? When they told me, I was speechless. It's a dream to play for ESP, I'm very happy." [rfef]

Munir: "It's an honour, I follow ESP since I was a kid. I have to enjoy it, take the chances and always give everything for the team" [rfef]

Munir: "Dedication? At this moment, you think about your family, your friends and the people who always supported you. I'm very grateful."

Thanks :)

"Dickriding" is generally a term I only hear from butthurt Madridistas, although it's generally directed towards Messi.

Seems like something is going right here, although I can't quite put my finger on it...

Looks like he has accepted the call-up. Good for the kid. Just keep your feet planted at planet earth and keep working hard just like now!

Unbelievably meteoric rise. There is a point where it gets too fast and too much pressure comes onto him, but I think he'll actually be spared of it in the coming weeks. Since Neymar is back I think he'll be limited to sub appearances with the first team unless he's in his most lethal form (which is good nurturing for his ego/confidence) so there won't be as much pressure to perform/score with consistent starts.

It's not a matter of "good enough=old enough" but that he still is developing so a wrong step could spell out danger for his future. I very highly doubt his attitude will ever be an issue since he seems to be the most humble and hardworking of all our attacking prospects. It's just a matter of over-expectation for such a young player that could stress him out.

Cant blame him for choosing Spain over Morroco. I honestly dont see any kind of future for the morrocan team. Its been 10 years since the morrocan team achieved something ( final africa cup. From 2004 till now there hasn't been any sign of improvement. But I still kind of hoped that he would be our striker ( which we really needed). We have lost two great talents today : bnou marzouk choosing for France and Munir for Spain. Wish the both them all the luck.

Imagine Bakkali, Munir, Moha, Ayoub, Mastour (if they all fulfill potential). Would be a force to be reckoned with if they had all chosen Morocco.
