Munir El Haddadi

Behrox

Vice President of FC Barcelona
i'm more annoyed with people claiming him to be a future great.

He has the talent to be one. He needs to play consistently at his age not rot at the bench of the first team and coming on when all hope has been lost

He wasn't that bad at all, just didn't get any support. I saw him as the best of the starting front three yesterday.

There are matches for young players to develop, useless CL group matches, CDR matches against 3rd league teams etc, but not tough away games when you are trailing against RM in the league.

I agree with this, he should have been on the bench last night and then start against Elche on Thursday, would have made far more sense imo. Didn't think he offered anything last night

Next Season, we are planning to promote Adama, Halil, Samper, Munir, Sandro, Deulofeu, Denis Suarez

1. if we keep them with the 1st team, they can't get enough of minutes to develop
2. if we send them on loan, people will say that the board doesn't deal well with our youngsters
3. if we keep them in the 2nd team, they will rotten and won't develop as much as in some La liga team
4. if we sell them with a buy back option, people will say that we don't believe in our youngsters and that the board ruined their careers, lol

So, in shorter, again:
1. if we loan them, in the last 10 years, only Rafinha's and Denis Suarez' loans worked well
-- all other players disappeared after loans forever
2. if we keep them in our 1st team, they will play as much as Montoya, Munir and Sandro this Season

Our fans have to realize that for a young player:
1. if you stay at Barca, you won't get too many minutes
-- but every time you DO get some minutes, you have to shine right away, or you are finished at Barca
2. if you are loaned, you have to play extremely well in that team (unlike Deulofeu, for example)
-- if you will play extremely well in another team, you will get a new chance at Barca, but again, you have to shine right away
-- if you won't play well in another team, more or less it means that you are not good enough for Barca either
-- plus, if you get another chance at Barca, and don't play well right away, you are finished again

You can't get 1000s of chances. We are Barca, not Stoke.

So, it is hard for youngsters to break through into our team, because we are Barca, the best team in the world.
But also, people have to realize that most of our youngsters are not that good as people think.

Very soon, more users will realize that none out of Montoya, Rafinha, Sandro, Munir, Deulofeu are good enough for Barca's level.
2 years ago, people were dreaming about them, and how they will play in Barca for the next 15 years.

Now we will have a new generation of players: Halil, Adama, Suarez, Samper,
Let's hope that this time at least one can turn out to be a Barca's material.

But don't expect more than that.
Everything more than that will be a miracle.

We have 23 man squad right now ,we are allowed to have 25
3 of them GKs ,we are set in that position for the next few years ,won’t be sure if Masip is gonna stay as 3rd GK and I honestly prefer having only 2 first team GKs
that mean we have 22-23 man squad spots for other positions ,we already have 23
Alves is set to leave with no offer to renew till now and he can sign for any other club at any time ,S.Roberto also seems close to leaving specially with no playing time for so long .Song already said he isn’t coming back to Spain and wants to stay in England ,can’t blame him .really doubts Afellay would renew

We would probably leave 2 spots for January transfer market ,but in this case I think we would let Masip go
Now that is 18 players for 21spots not counting the youth players .
Those players with their ages by start of next season
Montoya (24)
Pique(28)
Rakitić (27)
Busquets (27)
Xavi (35)
Pedro (28)
Iniesta (31)
Suárez(28)
Messi (28)
Neymar (23)
Rafinha (22)
Mascherano (31)
Bartra(24)
Douglas (25)
Alba (26)
Adriano (31)
Vermaelen (30)
Mathieu (32) ,last 3 has their bd in October/November so they will be that age during the season

I would expect us to sell one player tbh ,probably Douglas to again open roster spots ,may be Xavi will think it is time to go to MLS
That could allow us to put up to 4 players from youth into 1st team squad
With the age and form of some players there will be enough time for young players to prove themselves
Adama/Samper/Halilovic/Samper/Munir along 2 loaned players Deulofeu and Denis will fight for those spots ,but this time I think there will be more place for them tbh ,it is a lifetime chance ,some won’t use it but would expect some to step up
We can repeat to say this is Barca not stoke ,but this is a really banned barca with clueless sport director and no other options but to count on La masia

Another player suffering from enrique's bad management. Should be back with the b team, not benched for 90% of the time.

Munir still played more minutes than Rafinha, which is, again, terrible management from Enrique.

Aside from injuries you are right, Rafinha has shown time and time again that he's our current best young player (Not counting Bartra cause at this point he's a bonafide part of the team) and deserves the time that should come with.

It's the system that even makes Busquets and others look like not good enough for the A's at times
