Improvin' Perfection!!
He had a trial 1st their IIRC ,didn't join them but he had trial with them and then us and both wanted him and his father favored Barca. or at least that is what I've read
Yeah well..... Trial. He surely would have got selected man, it's Don we are talking about.

But I read/told don't remember..... But Don's parents did not like the environment of the place where the Real based youngsters were living. So his father brought him to Barca instead

Munir had a great game when he was subbed in against Real Betis today.

He was behind Garay's goal and was unlucky that the ball hits the crossbar.

Too bad that Real Betis scored the winning goal in the injury time.

I think he'll be a starter for them in the next game.

Thanx for the info. Great to hear he did well on his debut :)

Yeah, I'd like to say Valencia started to perform much better thanks to Munir.

Would be nice for him if he gets some developement.

On the other hand, we can't get Munir back if he does too well for a longer period if they want to sign him permanently :(

You really think Munir will do so well at Valencia that he'll choose them over us?

IIRC, we don't have a buy-back for him.

So if Valencia wants to activate the clause for signing him permanently, then he's a 100% Valencia player.

That's what I'm saying.

If Valencia wants to activate the clause how are they going to make him sign without holding him at gunpoint?

That makes it a choice for the player, not Barcelona - the board cannot ensure his staying at the club. That is and has been the point

Of course he can, would he want to do that is the better question.

Club deems you surplus to needs or moves you when you have been playing well? Not so sure but we'll see, would be naive from the club to assume that is how it will play out

This is what I'm saying. Valencia activating their buy option wouldn't mean anything if Munir himself doesn't want to go, and I really doubt he'd hear Barca calling him back and go "Nah, I'm happy at Valencia".

Most loanees prefer to stay at the clubs where they had their breakthrough though. If he were to chose between starting at Valencia or being 2nd or 3rd choice at Barca behind Suarez or Paco, then his decision might not be as clear as you expect it.

They won't, but I take it for granted that Munir will stay at Valencia if the club decides to make him their player 100% if he's a great spell.

I mean, why would Munir ever go back to Barcelona and riding the bench for an another season + being behind Suárez and Paco (who's supposed to be Munir's replacement in the first place).

For the sake of Munir's own career, it would obviously benefits for him to stay at Valencia rather than return to us.
