I mean he's good when he's in our half but in the opposition half he just lacks so much. When he's on the edge o the box it either looks like a) he's way to hesitant to make an offence play or b) his head is down and he doesn't see it.

Either way he lacks big time on the offensive side of things.

I have an issue with the way he dribbles. He should do more speed dribbling rather than stop dribbling.

He can't connect with anyone that's the sad truth. Makes some sense to play him though if Messi is going to stick to the right side. Defensive and athletic purposes only.

It's going to be really easy to drop out of the playing rotation this year. When the opponent sets up as defensively as Alaves, Semedo should not be on the field.

He doesn't have chemistry with anyone.

The only good thing about him is his pace and defending against counters.
In attacking sense, Digne was Maradona compared to him.
And Digne was quite poor to average for Barcelona's standards.

I don't understand what majority of fans see in him.

If Semedo doesn't do well this year I can see him being a Danilo case.

By no means at bad player, but Barca might not be a suitable fit for him. I think he has potential to be a monstrous defensive RB, but his attacking play is really limited and Barca's system requires a fullback with high attacking play.

the moment he reached the corner of opponents box and back passed to halfway line to pique is when i realized he hasn't improved at all from last season..

oh and messi telling him where to go again sealed the deal.
