Nelson Semedo

MD says Robert,Javier Bordas and Raül Sanllehí so yeah it seems they are really going to try and push this deal quickly.

I know we have been linked with Semedo for awhile now but we made a lot more progression with Semedo in the last couple of days than in the month or so for Bellerin once we decided to discard him.

Everything changed when Valverde started the pre-season so they may have decided this case this week. They just tried to figure out how much Bellerín would cost and then sat down to discuss this with Valverde. Both targets played international tournaments so they wouldn't have been available before ~June 30th anyway. We weren't in a hurry in this case.

Cadena Ser reporter Fermín Suárez was analyzing Semedo, Saying he has a great offensive profile but isn't convinced about his defensive game. then on his list of more attractive options he lists Cancelo on it. :VdB:

He's not convinced about Semedo's defensive game which tbh isn't a bad critique but he lists Cancelo as one of the more attractive options than Semedo and I'm just thinking what?

Cancelo and Bellerin better than Semedo?!?! LOOOOOOOOOOOOL

Semedo is not perfect and he has to work to improve but he is only 23 years old and he cen become really good. Under this market circumstances and lack of world class full backs he is more than ok for me.

Some people here would complain even if we get Dembele or Verratti...

I'd rather go with Ricardo Pereira for 25m (his release clause) than paying more than 35m for Nelsinho.
