It's a difficult position to play for a club like Barca and I understand why he's becoming hesitant to go forward. You need to be allowed to fail, and he isn't really that.
Ideally you would want this player to go all out, run at every space and conquer every meter he's given. Just go for it. No matter how good of a player you are, this would still end in failure at least two out of three times, but that one success creating a chance, would be worth it. This is what you see in the best full backs in the world.
Suarez is a good player because for some reason, we've allowed him those 4 out of 5 failures, which brings with them the 1 success.
