A darkish coloured kit doesn't make any sense as the Barca's away kit, because the home kit is of the darkish colours as well. It will be the same as that season where Barca had black kits as the away kit but had to wear their third kits in many away matches, as the resemblance in the first two kits were quite close.

It's the 101 rule in designing the sports clubs shirts: 1 dark kit, one light kit.
