It's likely due to the brief they're getting. I'm just trying to figure out what's the reasoning for these designs.

In my experience it's often unfortunately just a random decision of some bigwig at the top "cause he likes that colour better". The difference between the designer's original idea and what's being produced is sometimes like Michael Jackson's plastic surgery before and after.

There is lots of potential with these ingrained designs so hopefully they will look awesome IRL. But it's true the result in underwhelming so far.

The purple one looks like a pyjama. So far I hate all of them. Might instead buy a RM one out of spite this year.
