Neymar Jr. - v5

Neymar would score 5 or 6 goals against top teams from the 70's just like top athlètes from the future are going to wipe the floor with the current ones.

No, sorry.
Not 5-6 goals, probably more. And I'm bloody speaking against my own time and past...
In the 70's there were no players on the planet capable of technically do whatever they do otherwise - when running full speed. Hilarious difference...

Most brazilians legends are idiots honestly. There is a stupid comment from them every month. Pele leads their clan.

They are seriously idiotic, no doubt.
But Pele? Just imagine how much brainpower he had when 3 months before the WC he offered his services to Brazil to play again at almost being 52 years old...

I guess they simply think that anyone (past, present and future) can't come close to them. So they just try to stop time...

As he is one goal away from his 100th. Now you know. He scored 6 headers for Barça.

You're welcome
Given his agility and cat like balance, think he could be pretty good in the air.

He lacks height though. But I dunno...I find it somewhat appealing that he and Messi don't rely on headers. They're some of the most boring and less gracious goals for me.

FlaFCB Owh nice.

Footoz just couldn't wait so he clipped a friendly goal in the mix

Ori, headers could be gracious though, in theory (just need a ballet like jump hehe). Imagine if ney pulls a Van Persie lob header over Diego Alves for his 100th. Pele would have a meltdown

One should listen when Ronaldinho is talking about football. However, I don't agree with him when it comes to CR. Neymar is better now, has more impact on the game. You can mention CR in a sentence with Lewandowski, Suárez, Cavani now, but not with Messi.

With all due respect to Ronaldinho (he s one of my fav players), I can't agree with him on this! IMHO, Neymar is currently better than CR7 now, both in term of form n level! And you can say that he s been even in better form than Messi the last few matches he played (except the one against Celta)! Obviously, He s the heir to Messi at Barca. But to say that Neymar is already at the same level as Messi is too much of a stretch, Ronnie n Neymar r both Brazilian so it's not surprising hearing this from Ronnie though! Neymar at his peak is nowhere near Messi at his peak! We already know what Messi can do in his prime so this is not even a debate! Neymar is not at the same level as Messi n I highly doubt he will ever be!

P/s: Neymar still has tons of work to do with his finishing this season! He needs to get this right before even thinking about ballon d'or cuz we already saw how CR7 claimed the awards with his misleading stats! Would love to see Neymar win one though!

It is always difficult to say something about Messi's level because at least for me it is impossible to look only for the "NOW & HERE", I am ALWAYS going to consider everything he has done in the last 10-13 years.

But yeah, even looking for just the current season I would still put Messi above anyone.
