Neymar Jr. - v5

Lol that's just ignorant. Every winger in the world cuts inside. Sterling today was running from leftside to midfield and passing to the right back, Hazard does it always. Sometimes you dribble someone while doing it, most of the time you dont. Its just a movement to free up the flank for the left back. Again, EVERY winger does this, MULTIPLE times a match. I'm talking about carrying the ball from left flank to midfield in a straight line and passing the ball from there to rakitic or sergi.

The problem is, BerkeleyBerney only started to analyse a winger's function in football when Neymar came in. He thinks only Neymar runs to the middle lol. Every guy who uses the right foot as a leftwinger does that.

I've no problem with him cutting in. I often play the same position. It's the limitations of what he does with the run- 90% of the time it's to hold the ball as long as he can (always LONGER if he turns it into a personal ego battle with his markers), look for a diagonal cross (not a simple square floor pass) into the middle 3 or 4 seconds into the run- if he doesn't get fouled. He rarely lays it off unless he's pushed back to close to the half line. There are so many more options available. As you said, it frees the flank, but it's useless if the run always ends with a foul or a cross to the middle. If he would simply drag two defenders and give the ball to Iniesta after pulling them for a second, they are out of position, you have the ball in the hands of an expert dribbler and passer who is positioned to see the open options, and a much more dangerous attack.

If only there was a way that Neymar could transfer some of his motivation n desire to the other guys in the team (cuz I think he s been in excess of these), then our squad d be more balance in term of mentality! IMHO this excess has been harming his development, causing him to make wrong decisions many times. Some call his mistake leading to the red card against Malaga stupid n childish, I call that too much passion or too much desire! Apparently, he needs to hav someone teach him to calm his tits down! A yoga class or something meditation related can do wonder! I always love him for this quality but sometimes I wish he didn't hav too much of it

Ney is amaizing talent, but to a certain point I agree with BBZ. He does some amaizing stuff but he also loses the ball a lot, slows the game and makes judgement mistakes all the time. I'm not so sure we would be stupid to cash in big for him and then buy great midfielder and young, hungry wide attacker. Problem is I don't know one, except Mpabbe and he is already priced 3x to high.

We need a video of some of the things he did to the rightback during the second half. Pure filth.

Those things weren't necessary and were a waste of time, it slows the game down for us. . .
He should have just crossed the ball in and we would have won the game 9 - 1 or so.
Lets sell him and buy Marc Albrighton he has the best crosses in Europe.
I am sure BBZ and the gang would approve.

His trick led to the penalty that messi scored later. Also in the second goal he dribbled past 4 players to land the ball to messi outside the penalty area from where messi scored. You don't know what you are talking about.

Looks like I have mastered the art of satire.

That right back is the best in the world :coffee:

*Best spanish right back in the world and rightfully so. Villarreal have conceded the 2nd least goals this season and have had one of the best defences in the league for a couple of seasons now, thanks to Musacchio, Gaspar, and Asenjo, but what do yo know.
Maybe you should actually start following the league more often, rather than jacking off to Aurier & Pogba rumours on the transfer thread.

 Have you even watched RM? Their fullbacks has been close to their best players!

Marcelo is clearly in his prime right now. Last time I watched RM was against Atletico and Carvajal was absolute trash in that game up until he got injured and replaced by Nacho who had a better game than him. Carvajal is not only inconsistent but also dirty and a class A cunt.
