I have mixed feelings about this. On the one hand, having 220m in the bank is a very nice deal indeed, but considering it will rather be spent on 40 more Douglas type of players, it simply isn't worth it. Also, if we don't get our world class midfielder - and we wont, we will get another mediocre one - and losing Neymar, it would be a huhe loss for the team. He is incredibly fast and has a world class technique which is hard to replace. If it is going that way, all of our attacking would rely on Messi.

Why not just use the money to throw at Hazard? On his absolute A game he's better than Neymar IMO. Doesn't thrive being centre of attention either. A (ridiculous) fee of £220m could probably get him and Verratti.

I think its just about agreeing with psg and thats maybe the problem. The neymars are not stupid they certainly have the verratti story in mind. They know neymar wont be able to leave if he want to because there is no buyout. Meaning this contract means ending his career at psg and he may not like the idea.... For me one thing is obvious he wants to leave.....

hazard better than neymar. what kind of bs is that. he will never be as good as neymar. psg are not going to sell verratti even if they sign neymar
