Cristiano is better or maybe Cristiano's team is way better ? even last season ? oh the season where Messi carrying Barca just to survive and stay at 2nd spot and almost still win the liga ? seriously you two really needs to check your brains
Come on? How is finishing second good enough for Messi? The Messi I remember has had even worse teammates and lead us to Champions League. That Messi is no more sadly.
Why do people result to calling people a troll when they disagree with thier opinion? This is pathetic. If you disagree with my opinion, fine, provide a reply so I can understand your opinion . Dont ridicule me.
If you guys cant see the rise of Neymar it is because you dont want to accept the fall of Messi. However, this is not to say Messi still isnt world class or incredible. I just feel that Neymar is now on that level.
Again. You choose to bash the character rather than tackle the opinion. I know you guys have great arguments which justify youre reaction, but if you just attack someone just because they have an opinion you dont like then you guys are the trolls and the ones ruining this forum.
I agree, alot of people here, in my opinion, consider Messi still better than Ronaldo even when hes not the Messi of old. I feel people here refuse to appreciate Ronaldo's talents no matter what. They block this out of thier mind and so when someone suggest that talentless Ronaldo is in any way on the level of Messi or better than him, they are disgusted by the idea.
I love Messi but I support Barcelona. Those are not the same thing. If Messi hasnt been the best player in the world over the last couple seasons, this doesnt take anything away from him.
When Messi was tearing it up, no one could have argued with this, because he made us the best team in the world. But Messi hasnt been Messi for a couple of seasons. He has still been amazing but this is clouding up people's judgement. Real Madrid have won 3 UCL in the last 4 years. Ronaldo has also won 3 Ballon D Or's in the last 4 years aswell. By this logic how can you not say Ronaldo hasnt been better than Messi the last couple of seasons? And the argument that Ballon D Or doesnt equal that you are the best in the world is right and wrong at the same thing. We used this same argument when Messi won 4 in a row.
However, and this is important and what I feel people are forgetting. Being the best player in the world isnt all up to Messi. For a couple of seasons, Madrid have had a better support system than us. They have better managers, better squad depth , better signings, the list goes on. This has meant Messi hasnt been able to perform well and Ronaldo has been able to perform really well. Fact remains that Messi's career is unmatched throughout history. The things he has done and continues to do is amazing. However I feel Ronaldo has been better the last couple of seasons.
On the topic of Neymar, because this is his thread, I have already stated that I feel that Neymar is improving vastly. But we havent seen the best of him. In the right system, Neymar could flourish beyond our imagination. He has shown glimpses of this time and time again. That is why I think it is paramount to try and keep him. However, I believe the only way we see Neymar really improve is at another club. He simply cannot reach his full potential with Messi here. Messi is the star of the team and will be for a while. The only way I think we keep Neymar here in the long term, is if we get rid of Messi and we all know that is not happening. Even if Neymar stays, I think this is still a huge issue. I think Neymar should be the leader of the team, but I dont know if we are ready to replace Messi right now.
In addition, this is my opinion. I know you also have your opinion. I would like to hear it, I am all for people proving me wrong with thier opinion and justifying this opinion.

If he is leaving, he cant come out and say hes leaving, because then if the deal doesnt go through he is really screwed. If hes not leaving, then he could be signing a new deal and in that case its bad negotiation tactics to come out and give Barcelona the upper hand. To be honest, silence isnt good and speaking isnt good either. The probelm was the this because public knowledge, which isnt even his fault.

Neymar won't surpass Messi until he turns 28-30 and Messi starts to to massively decline.
So you're telling me Neymar is going to be the best in the world from 30-40? Damn the delusion never stops.
