I hope that our board won't now buy 20 new Brasilians to make Neymar and his father happy, because Neymar will be gone either way in 2018, and we will be stuck with random players who won't suit us and are expensive like Paulinho/Coutinho/Lima/insert a random Brasilian NT player.

As feared, Neymar leaving in 2017 sounded too good to be true.

It's better he stayed put even if it's only for one more year. This way we will get 250 mil if he leaves next year and we will be able to prepare transfer window for Dembele next summer. There is no way Dembele would have come here this summer not to mention it's better for him to stay one more season in Dortmund and fully develop.

I didn't like the saga, I don't think he treated club as he should have but for all parties it's better he is staying for at least one more year.

We should focus now on one midfielder (Eriksen or Coutinho) and close the market after that. I know all of you would like more to have Xavi successor but that ain't happening. There isn't player with those attributes on the market.

As things stand I would sell Arda and Rafinha/Denis and if we can't sign Eriksen or Coutinho I would't buy anyone. For me giving a chance to Samper and Alena makes much more sense than buying Seri. So either we buy a world class midfielder or we don't buy midfielder at all.
