Alright, lets just assume for a second what you're saying is true; it would be a huge slap in the face to PSG fans in France, you know, the ones that actually fill up the stadium and buy merchandise to have a marquee signing travel to a foreign land to do his medical and be signed in front of money hungry Qataris rather than in front passionate home fans. This is a clear cut case of PSG manipulating the FFP rules and there is no refuting it.

There´s no loophole. People tend to overthink this. In a release clause process it´s always the player who delivers the check in his name. Of course it´s not his money.

I think the problem is the concept of market rate. Neymar would take the brand ambassador role for a fraction of 300m. It's so gaudy that if this happened in the US, the feds would be kicking down the doors of the company to investigate money laundering and tax evasion.

If Neymar uses this money to buy out his contract, I think one can make a case for constructive ownership by a third party. He would be essentially on their books, not PSG's, as the resources used to acquire and pay him come from a different legal entity. It could be argued to Uefa that there is an easy alternative way to release him: have him take out a loan for a few days, at the price of a few million, guaranteed informally by PSG. That would be legal, and any bank would jump at the chance to make a few million in free money. But then PSG would have to reimburse Neymar, and then Neymar would fully be on their books. That's the dead giveaway proving this to be third party ownership: the purpose of such transactions are specifically to keep Neymar from being depreciated on PSG's books. Therefore he is owned by a third party.
