Neymar Jr. - v5

impeh

Hi, its me..
MD says that 222.mil. was deposited and that La Liga didn't accept it.

sky sports reporting this too

edit; found some info

La Liga have this morning refused to accept an attempt by PSG and Neymar lawyers to pay the Brazilian’s release clause.

About five lawyers arrived at La Liga HQ near Madrid airport this morning.

However, they left after only 15 minutes.

Yesterday, La Liga told Sky Sports News they would not accept the payment from PSG to trigger Neymar’s release clause.

A spokesman for the office of La Liga president Javier Tebas said: "We will not accept the money for the liberation clause, the reason is that we have doubts that this money is in accordance with UEFA Financial Fair Play rules."

i guess they want to make sure its legit with uefa first?

So Santos is pissed (again) with Neymar Sr as the latter claims the Santos will not see a single cent from the transfer. A normal sale would grant Santos a solidarity fee of 4% but Neymar Sr claims this is a termination and not a sale and thus Santos cannot claim the solidarity fee. Santos' lawyer claims otherwise. The greed is strong with this one

Nothing wrong with that. It simply isn't a sale, it's Neymar exercising his buyout. That's how the rules are in La Liga. A player has to give the club the money -> terminating his contract. Neymar's father has not made that up. In order to get a solidarity fee, Barca would have to agree to actually SELL Neymar, but why would they do that? Then they'd be the one paying Santos the solidarity fee.

Great, now we have to negotiate with PSG which will drag on for at least 2 weeks, or even worse Neymar staying after all, now that would be awkward:wacko:

We have never done very well after losing the best or soon-to-be best player in the world.

Why are you posting stuff about a soon-to-be the best player in the world in Neymar's thread, mate?

Be serious.

Losing Neymar is the best thing that happened to Barca since 2005 and emergence of young Messi.
Thank you, Nasser. Thank you, Psg

This is becoming hilarious. I guess these La Liga cowboy Lawyers finally have some action in their lives which is why they pounced on this once in a lifetime opportunity. When are they ever going to get another chance to be in the media? Probably never. Better than sitting in the office tossing paper into the trash can from differing distances to see who reigns supreme.
