Neymar Jr. - v5

This is probably the last time I'll post on this Neymar subforum. I usually don't have time to care for players from other teams, nothing personal against Neymar. I wanna say that I'm thankful that I got to witness one of the best, if not the best, trio of forwards in the history of football. I used to be a Neymar hater for the longest time. I still don't like some of his attitude, but I'm learning to accept people for being imperfect. No one can deny that he showed us a lot of brillant moments. He laughed with us when we won,but he also hurt when we lost. He was such a cry baby when we were eliminated
I'm willing to look at the positives more than the negatives. He helped us win a champions league, and how difficult it is to win one of those. Im a little hurt for his departure, but I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. I wanna believe that he is going to PSG, not ony for the money, but also because he feels that he can shine and be a better player there. If I knew that I would be a better player if I left for another team, I wouldn't think twice. Let's face it, players also have dreams of their own, and I respect that. Neymar was always gonna be outshined by Messi as long as Messi is at Barca. Messi is not retiring any time soon, and therefore Neymar is not showing his true potential. Neymar plays better in Messi's position, and I'm thankful he never questioned Messi being there while he played the wing, where even Messi doesn't perform as well as in the number 10 position. Neymar realized that he will never be "our new Messi" b.c Messi is still playing at the highest level. His last chance to the best player in the world is now. It's easier for him to be the best player in the world by playing for PSG than Barcelona. All he needs to do is win the champions league, and I would be crazy to pretend like PSG aren't favorites to win the CL anytime within the next few years.
Neymar is doing what we are all afraid to do: get out of our comfort zone. he has no idea what is gonna happen at PSG, and he's ok with that.
Im willing to give Neymar the benefit of the doubt. I think he's doing what's best for him.
Thank you Neymar for all the good moments.
good luck, brotha.
PS: please, don't ever go to madrid.

Out of the comfort zone? With 30 mil salary? Really?!?! It's truly uncomfortable zone! :D

Improvin' Perfection!!
Means jack shit if he don't meet their stupid expectations...... It's not like the Paris fans can have the guts to boo him or request for him to be off-loaded if he didn't win them the CL (Mind you that the league is again going to be a cake walk, some thing they can very easily manage). It's like a paid vacation for him. He will finish off his contract and move as a free agent like Zlatan did. PSG, the club, wouldn't complain coz of the windfall of the marketing income he gets them. If only he did care about his stature as the legend of the game, and realizes that it's taking a beating he would go ahead and leave them for free 5 years down the line or he will further extend his contract and earn even more from them in future!

Well, It's true. Barcelona was his comfort zone. Now he is the most expensive player in the world and the expectations are huge. Is he going to deliver or not?

He is going to the French league. He has no expectations on him.

He has had more pressure moving to Barça or leading Brazil.

The same club where Ronaldinho came to us from to fulfil his dreams of greatness has now done the same to one of our players. It truly shows money talks.

As soon as he gets the same treatment that Messi been receiving from opposition teams def, he ll miss being here with all the space he got.

All the space he got?

Last season Barca basically played without a right hand side and moved ball too slowly. Usually safe passes till Messi got ball.

Majority of time Neymar got it the other team were back in position and were at the least doubled up on him.

He will enjoy far more freedom and get ball earlier at PSG than that.

Did that fucker just say Neymar is the best player in the world?

He's not even in the top 5.

Who?

Either way, it's understandable that Neymar will be talked up (even if it's a blatant lie)...

With all respect to Zlatan/Silva, but Neymar is the biggest signing in their history.

Yeah sure, but even Neymar looked a bit uncomfortable when he said that.

Anyone lowkey notice that the usual 'red' on the PSG kits has been replaced by the maroon that is identical to that of the Qatari flag?
