His scoring is only declining in my opinion because he knew he was leaving so he started being the assist guy. He'll be back to 30 plus goals this season unless Cavani takes all the penalties and bosses the box.

What is the connection between scoring, assisting, and leaving ? I don't see it personally. Not to mention the prime reason for his lack of scoring was shit finishing.

For my money, I'd say neymar doesn't care about G+A, he knows he can't match Messi, CR, hell even Cavani in this respect. His path to the BO is PSG winning the cl with neymar shining in important matches. No one will care if he plays like a turd for most l1 games.

Anyone who thought Neymar had a good season last year is either on drugs or didn't watch Barca consistently.

Well he had a good season, but not as good as for what he's paid for and the amount of hype he receives. Plus he continued the declining trend.
His biggest chance was in era after PeeSG elimination from the CL, when he was a giant factor in us passing to quarter-finals. Before that point he was mediocre, but had he used that event to explode and "carry" Barca to at least winning la liga title, nobody would say a word.
Instead he chose to party on his sister birthday in Brasil right after that historical win, missing the game against Deportivo which we lost.
With all that money he's getting, it's not enough for him to act professional and stay focused through out the season. He chose some stupid birthday like he's a 9 year old kid, over the final run of the season for which he is paid a wast amount of money.
