Anyone here thinks that Barca should make better offer to make Ney reconsider joining PSG? Considering the fact in next 2 years Ney might become the best player in the world, but also consider the fact that last year Ney got contract resigning bonus and this year they are asking for more.

This looks like Ney Sr. is presenting PSG's offer and now Sanllehi is the one who should make a counter offer. Pretty sure he is gone because there is no way that we will offer him something similar. As much I love Neymar, if he isn't man enough to decide on his future without his dad then he should go.
Sign Dembélé instead. He might not be on Neymar's level yet, but he has massive potential and is 5 years younger than Neymar. He won't cost half the fee we receive for Neymar so there will be money left for Coutinho or Eriksen. Short-term Neymar's loss will hurt us, but Dembélé-Mbappé is potentially the BD'Or duel after Messi and CR have declined too much. Never got the "Neymar is the successor of CR and Messi" talk anyway. Always thought he is too old for that. Sure, he can win it one or 2 times, but he won't dominate for a decade like these two did.
According to the discussion few people had about Neymar, Messi and CR. Don't agree that Neymar is better than CR. Skillwise he pretty sure is better than CR, but football is about influence on the pitch too and both Messi and CR still have more influence on the game than Neymar has. I really dislike CR and think he hasn't had a great season, but he had major influence on Madrid winning the CL. Can't deny that. Messi was the reason we fought till the end for La Liga. Sure, Neymar had a great game now and then, but all in all Messi was superior to him.

Since he signed for us, it's been said (by Barça friendly media) that Neymar turned a bigger offer from Real Madrid, the obvious inference being that Neymar wanted so much to play with us that money didn't make the difference, quite the contrary.
BBZ8800 disputes that and argues that it can be explained as propaganda from our board and the friendly media (and I agree with him).
Someone asks if Real Madrid denied having offered more than us to Neymar.
In the article I linked to, Florentino says, back in 2013, that Neymar's signing was a very difficult deal with many actors involved, that the club calculated an investment of over 150 million €, and that said investment meant altering the club's ecosystem. That lead to their conclusion that signing him was not viable.
This pretty much implies that he didn't make a bigger offer than Barça.
And with the knowledge we've gained after 2013 about the details of Neymar's signing (in particular, the shady "accounting engineering" with which they tried to obfuscate everything surrounding this signing), still believing that Neymar chose us over a bigger economic offer is naive, to say the least.
