Neymar Jr. - v5

No, everyone wouldn't be doing it because you still have to convince the player on top of carrying the necessary revenue to fit his wage demands. You also have to find an entity willing to give you a 220m euro loan, which only a few clubs can.

PSG isn't run by idiots, that much should be clear by how Qatar is handling the crisis in the Gulf. They and their lawyers wouldn't have continued pushing through with the deal if they believed they didn't have the resources to finance the move without being punished by UEFA.

All of Qatar are just a bunch of lucky bastards who stumbled into wealth. Without the infinite resources on hand Qatar would not handle any crisis anywhere, that country is just filled with nepotism, it's disgusting. I think that PSG just has calculated that if UEFA indeed punishes them from this transfer 1 year ban is a ban that they can handle. After all, the marketing opportunities with Neymar are insane. But I don't think that the transfer is happening after the Pique post on Instagram. It would be really weird for Pique to do something like that unless he has clear insider information. He would not gain anything by lying to the fans.

Neymar will be a future Captain at FC Barcelona, just wait and see guys. :barcascarf:

Neymar and captain do not belong in the same sentence unless the word not is between the two.

Going from Puyol, Xavi, Iniesta, and Messi (next in line) to Neymar would be laughable.

How about he learns how to lead his own life first before we decide to let him lead the team?

It is not done, guys. The situation is very delicate and fluid as that MD article showcases.

If Neymar ends up leaving in the end, he will surely be burning bridges with Pique in particular (He would make a huge fool out of Pique and two probably won't be talking any more in the future) and a lot of our players and the club. But if they deem that is the price to pay for him to leave, they will do it.

Who do you see as a suitable successor to Messi as Captain other than Neymar if he stays?

The captain doesn't have to be the best player on a team and usually isn't. A good captain must be a player that would give his life to protect the badge, is respected by others and is fully committed to the club. Neymar falls under none of those categories and would be a horrible choice. Can you just imagine him wearing the armband while diving, complaining to the ref or pushing more exit rumors? Would be embarrassing tbh.

Out of the current players on the squad I don't really see anyone that could be a long-term choice. Would probably have to be our next breakthrough La Masia player or a transferred player that has a strong presence in the locker room.

How is evident? Has little rat came out and said it publicly?

He can't do that right now after he was silent for 10 days or so. What can he say?

If he says "it was all a lie" people will ask him why haven't you said that earlier? If he says "I had an offer but I am staying" everyone will know he was thinking of leaving. It's better for him to stay quiet right now until storm settles a bit.

And he will never do that in a way they want. By staying quiet he leaves the door open for the next year.

No to mention that he can't do that now when he decided to be quiet for so long. He'll speak up when Barca returns to Spain but I believe he will say something neutral like Verratti did.

IMHO it's 100% clear he is staying. And those articles are just for selling papers nothing more, nothing less. How the fuck can ayone know what has he told to Messi or Suarez or to Barto. Minimum 90% of those articles are made up.

Just imagine how much money was earn by warious portals and accounts just from clicking because of this PSG shitstorm.

There are similarities to the case of CR too. Not long time ago it was headlined "Ronaldo makes irreversible decision to Real Madrid". Till now nothing has happened. He never talked about it if I didn't miss anything.

He doesn't have to say anything, He could just post a picture on instagram saying "Visca Barca" and 95% of people will get it, does not need to go into details.
