Asking to pay in terms, which Barca should hang up the phone directly.
For me there are only 3 options, with 3rd one less favourable as next transferwindow we will have same shit over.
- he leaves, and PSG pays 222 million directly. Barca gets Dembele + Erikssen/Dybala
- he leaves, and PSG pays 150 + veratti and gets Douglas aa a free addon
- he stays, STFU and honor our club, drops his dad as an agent. Next year he can leave for 250

Yep just tell them to fuck off and pay the release clause, if they have issues with tax that is there fault. There is no way they would accept Verrati leaving anyway and the rest of there team is shit.

Psg will not become a top club with this transfer and French league will not be better than Spain/England or even Germany and Italy.
Neymar will be involved in Paris nightclub shenanigans and his greedy father will demand regular money injections and shit Brazilian transfers before seeking a move to the premier league or real madrid.

People saying 20% IVA (think that's VAT? in English) so that may be way, they are right though that Spain would not let a 222M transaction go without tax. We see how hard Spain goes after players/clubs already

I thought Spain got rid of the tax on paying release clause? I am assuming the tax issue P$G refers to is the French tax, no?

What was removed or will be removed according to the article last year was the 50% tax. you would still need to pay IVA on the 222M

A new contract would probably cripple us.
Personally, I believe it's just a matter of waiting on PSG getting their finances in order.
For me the problem is no longer of Neymar leaving, it's how we are going to compensate for his loss.
That's all good and dandy, but it doesn't answer my question on why Nerman Sr. is still talking to our head honchos, if he's already gone?
