As I said before, if NeyNey returns, we might be good on a short term, but we will be fucked in the long term. Financially and sporting-wise.

As soon as Suarez/Leo leave/retire, NeyNey will want out too. He will decline and his attitude will become toxic again. We will pay a lot of money for 3 years of NeyNey. After that it's downhill and we will need to revamp the whole squad even more.

Needless to say that even those 3 years are questionable, since IMO Valverde cannot tame NeyNey. No fucking way in hell.

The problem is that we likely won't be good even on the short run. How exactly is any manager, let alone a "manager" (lol) like Malmierda going to fit a 33 year old past it dinosaur like Suárez, a 32 year old Messi that is anarchic and does mostly as he pleases as our entire playing style is "pass the ball to Messi and let him do some magic", Griezmann and Neymar into the same team successfully?

The frightening thing is that Griezmann is basically a done deal and that Neymar looks incredibly likely to arrive as well once Coutinho and Dembélé have been gotten rid of.

Can anyone imagine Pep, Klopp, Pochettino or any other world class manager even wanting to have such a dysfunctional (on paper) attack and getting rid of a player like Dembélé (young, incredible potential, one of the fastest players out there, our entire team lacks pace, one of the slowest teams out there)? I certainly cannot.

All while past it dinosaurs like Rakitic, Busquets etc. will continue to have WAY too much playing time to the detriment of FDJ and Arthur with Malmierda around.

It is a recipe for disaster.

No more Club de Amigos.

And NeyNey should NEVER be handed the reigns of this team after what he pulled off in summer of 2017.

The "club de amigos" clan is the real power behind the club currently due to the cuck Bartomeu and the useless board. They are effectively running the club, ensuring that Malmierda continues and is currently the "manager" and the same lot is also the main reason behind the club being desperate to resign Neymar of all players.

Instead of destroying that "club de amigos" clan from within by getting rid fo Suárez and Rakitic (for starters), the exact opposite is happening. Dembélé (an "enemy" of the club de amigos) is shipped off for an old member of the clan (Neymar).

Griezmann probably got the blessing of his buddy Piqué despite pissing Messi and Suárez off (apparently) so everything is all good and prepared for his arrival.

In Lucho we trust!
Unfortunately I cannot see any scenario of Dembélé staying (he has already been grossly mismanaged for 2 years, zero continuity, zero development by large and less confidence than when he arrived) at the club if the past it dinosaur (Suárez) stays, Messi (is a given that he will stay) similarly, and if Griezmann (looks like a certain deal) and probably Neymar arrives as well. Dembélé is one of the most valuable assets that the club has and who could realistically leave the club. Alongside with the gigantic flop/fraud that was/is Coutinho.

Such a deal (you need to look at the positives in times of sorrow) could be good but it is not very realistic. I don't see why PSG would be interested in an oil tanker (Rakitic) that is way past it and whose costs (wage) will not reflect his actual performances on the field. If think that PSG signing Herrera on a free is their version of "Rakitic". So unlikely that they will be interested in anyone other than Coutinho and Dembélé (both are clearly on the market if the right proposal arrives) and in particular Dembélé given that they would have to replace Neymar directly. This way Dembélé could return to Paris and team up with his best buddy Mbappé before the latter leaves in 1-2 seasons. Tuchel as well. I could see a swap deal with Neymar being done + a significant sum of money and Dembélé thrown into the deal. Coutinho will most likely be a separate deal IMO to balance the books.

Getting shot of Dembélé has got to be a good thing. He has had two years and can't settle in the team. He's had all sorts of off-field problems and the hierarchy (players) don't trust him. If we can recoup any sort of decent money for him, send him down the river, it is his own fault after all. Keep dreaming all you like that he's gonna come good. He isn't, at least not at Barca.

I disagree completely in regards to Dembélé.

The main problem of his have been the many injuries that he has suffered from, lack of continuity whatsoever, "club de amigos" seeing him as a foe (Suárez in particular) rather than a friend that needs all the support on and off the field, and Valverde being a clueless "gestionario" as calling him a manager would not only be unfitting but also untrue. To mention a few problems. Those are not problems that cannot be solved even less so given his young age.

It is criminal that a player of his talent and obvious abilities (insane pace and acceleration, being ambipedal (very rare gift), runs behind the defense, potential) has not really undergone much of a positive development in 2 seasons. He might in fact have less confidence than when he arrived. Had Pep, Klopp, Pochettino or any other truly world class manager managed him for 2 years, he would most likely have been one of the most talked about players currently.

Not to mention that those teams (Liverpool, Tottenham and Man City) actually have a playing style. Unlike our playing style of "giving the ball to Messi" and sit back and wait. Or to sit back deep against similar opponents on paper and play on the counter with a midfield composed of dinosaurs and one of the slowest attacks in world football when Dembélé is not available. With Alba being the only predictable threat in terms of offensive runs. Always looking for Messi.

Dembélé in the current Liverpool team for example would be a success without any doubts whatsoever. A big one at that too.

The one that needs getting rid of is actually Coutinho (of those two) and some of the past it dinosaurs that are members of the "club de amigos" clan as I mentioned earlier.

Not one of our most promising youngsters alongside FDJ and Arthur would should form (ideally) a key part in future teams.

Sorin's line-up would be tops but since Barto ain't gonna trade Suarez and Valv favors Bob over Sem, best solution could be a fluid 3 5 2

with Arthur and one of deJ/Griez dropping back into a 5 3 2 in defense & Ney + Demb stretching the field in offense. This way at least, you get to keep Demb and make him a starter.

and though a shot in the dark, Barto should try a straight swap Tuchel for Valv.

To help the deals, Ney and Tuchel could both start acting bat shit krazeeee, taking up extreme sports and stuff haha :p

The fact that we're even entertaining this after what he pulled in 2017 is an indictment against both the board and Messi/Suarez/Pique/Busquets.

This. I'm amazed how many supposed Barca fans have 0 integrity and can't see what this move will do for us in 5 years time.

The correct way to handle this, if indeed Messi came to the board that he wants NeyNey back, would be to tell him, that we can get him back, if we sell Luis Suarez. Then he would probably ask what about Cou and Dembele and they should tell him no. Pick Suarez or NeyNey.

With Malmierda around we should all expect something along those lines although I would prefer your take on things just for the entertainment value alone.

Griezmann-Suárez-Messi

Busquets-Rakitic-Vidal

Alba-Lenglet-Piqué-Roberto

In fact his love affair with Coutinho might even mean that Griezmann will follow Dembélé's treatment. We might as well throw another €120 million into the dustbin.

As amazed when I see fans wanting to throw Dembélé under the bus.
