While it turned into shit, I can't see PSG ever feeling bad about this transfer. It was massive for them. Especially after 6-1 trashing. They got their pay-back after we tried to steal their players many times. They got their revenge and huge image/brand boost.

Nah it wasn't massive. It looked like it could be something big, but it was just underwhelming. People still don't care about Ligue 1 with or without Neymar, and they are still a joke in Europe. Neymar wasted two years of his career where his reputation took a major hit, becoming a joke in the process, got injured repeatedly etc.

Basically Neymar to PSG was a major fiasco. Mbappe to PSG is the real deal though if they can keep him for his best years.

While L1 is still a joke, I have to admit my interest in the league became bigger after Neymar went there. I even watched few games past few years, because of him. Neymar is a big name in football after all and he has following, especially in South America. It was bad deal for all parts(Looking back now), but Neymar wasn't happy in Barcelona anymore either, so who knows what kind of drama we would have had in BCN, If he stayed.

Lol what? Nobody had anything to gain from it outside money. PSG were actually playing the best football in Europe in 2013 under Ancellotti.

Now you're stuck with a diva who doesn't want to play and train anymore. I personally hope PSG keep Neymar and he gets paid a tonne while relaxing and partying all season.
First of all, PSG got great contract from Nike and ALL thanks to Neymar transfer. Nike is there until 2032 with or without Neymar. This alone means PSG is less reliant on Qatari contracts. As a matter of fact, the QTA contract has not been renewed as asked by UEFA FFP. Tout can say that PSG is more self sustainable than before.

Secondly, your argument about Qataris not knowing anything about football because they bought Neymar is hilarious. Buying Neymar 2 years ago is a no brainer if you have the money. The fact he got injured and Barça was not able to replace him doesn't change that fact. It is like saying Italians dont know shit about football because they bought CR7 and it fucked Real Madrid season while Juventus had their worse season in latest years with him.

Also, why talking about Ancelotti ? We have had 3 managers after him. You are the one stucked in the past. We were not playing our best football at all with him and in fact, he lost one Ligue 1 and lot of cups.

Sure man, bringing a party-goer with bad habits, and bad entourage in a club that pampers stars and in a league where the title is won in february. What could go wrong.

Surprise, surprise. Neyboy got bored of crappy Ligue 1 and wants out. Predictable.

That's true, though. We could see him get bored in L1. He says he went there for the CL and B'dor motive, but I never believed that. It was all about money and now he regrets his decision.

I'm glad that as usual you didn't answer or contest the fact i mentionned in my post.

It is good to see you are still following your way of memeing.

Yes, 2 years is too small sample size to measure success of "Project" Neymar. It could have gone differently as well. PSG had good team.

Juventus didn't sign Ronaldo just for his CL heroes, but also for the Image reasons. Their stock price went up immediately and it gave new credibility to Italian Serie A, which they badly needed after years of shit show. To me, now it looks like Italian league is on the rise and it's also partly because of Ronaldo (but also because new investors from Asia).

Same thing with Neymar. PSG made a "no-brainer" move in my eyes. Neymar itself was worth the 220million € from the image/brand reasons and then everything else on the field was a plus. It was a great move in that perspective. Too bad it didn't turn out better for them.

I already said 'outside money', and you give me some economical advantages. How typical. I meant sporting wise man. Isn't this why you signed Neymar for? To make you the best team in the world?

Yea... right... He got you a contract with Nike. Give me a break.

I'm not happy he is leaving because he was very good for PSG. The best player by a country mile.

However, if he starts doing non professional things, he should be heavily punished until a club agree a fee with PSG.

For me, losing Neymar is an huge blow to PSG.
When serghei tells you Mbappé to PSG is the real deal and Neymar is not, the only problem with the latter was his injuries.

There are not big players in the market. PSG will be like Real Madrid last year. Recruiting not top players.

This ended up being a bad move for both parties in general.

You had so many people saying how this could be a bad move for him yet he didn't listen. PSG I get what they wanted but the problem is even buying Neymar doesn't guarantee European success, there's just so much more to it than just buying a superstar like Ney.

PSG are better off trying to make Mbappe the main figurehead for them. True Mbappe isn't as talented as Neymar is but he's a French and marketable and very talented.

Bolded for the truth. Everyone knew it was a bad deal for Neymar, other than money. When you sign with the devil, you usually lose in the end.

Lmao odds are 1.72 that he comes and 2.0 that he stays.
PSG won't sell, we won't buy, because Atletic making us pay 120m, we can't afford, this is too simple.
